Its day 2 of the new semester. Kinda loved First Day. All the excitement and hustle bustle of school made me hyped up. Accounting lecture was awesome too, though the lecturer spent hell loads of time trying to make her computer work. (:

Second day started at 7.30am. I was shaken awake by my sister to watch the Korean thriller, Cinderella with her. Man oh man, it really made my eyes open wide for the next couple of hours. Met Gary over at Bishan before heading to school. (:

I was pretty much just as excited over the Economics lecture today too! (: Turns out, the legendary lecturer and tutor was just as brilliant as everyone has said her to be. Sharp as blades, her tongue lashes none stop. She was smart, observant and ever so tactful with her words. Maybe they call that sarcasm. Oh wells. I loved the way she did her lecture. But honestly? I really need to brush up on my knowledge of world issues, widen my perspectives of the current economy and also try to pick up some knowledge by tapping on hers. (:

Though exciting, the lecture left me exhausted, and hungry for more information. But well. Disappointment came along. It wasn't that hard to detect that kind of 'i just want to get it over and done with' attitude from people around me. It was a good stunt of trying to express discontentment with a choice willingly made, whilst covering it up to portray a positive self image. Such hypocrisy.

Sigh* I'm just gonna breathe. And make this semester awesome. Bad habits die hard. But no matter how hard, I'm just so determined to make them die.

I'm meeting the SDAR Director tomorrow for some weird dialogue session and gosh, I'm still wide awake. :( Zhuangzhuang had to go off cause he mum was making her sleep.

Fortunately Waternutlon's awake. Hahs. He's really funny, and I guess its that kind of frank, honest sharing sessions that made the friendship last so long. (: HAHA.

Meeting today was long, but the agenda was actually short. So I didn't exactly figure how it got extended for 5 hours. Anyhoos. At least we still got things done. (:
I'm really worried about the publicity though. I mean, we can have the most fabulous of posters, but WTH if it can't be displayed?!

I hope I get to brainwash the director tomorrow a little at least. :S HAHA.

Alright, lunch with Gary's gonna be fun. And I miss zhuangzhuang, ahshean and roooth! :( Man.

One more week to the new semester and I'm not sure if I'm ready for it. I'm like so addicted to my events now. Seeing it progress everyday makes me darn excited and impatient. Sometimes, I can't wait for the event to take place, and sometimes I just wish I had more time to work with.

Especially Gradnight. I'm just so grateful to have team mates who are calmer. LOL. They kinda, keep me to the ground, and they sometimes look beyond the distance I've covered. Thank goodness someone created the word team. LOL

I totally left the Christmas Party at the back of my mind though. Time to give it some perspiration. (:

I think I've met my fair share of inspiring people, but woah. After the conversation with Sebastian at the Supperclub, he seriously left me speechless. Maybe its because, its the first time I've encountered a person who's pursuing the same diploma as me, in the same educational institute, and has come so far in life, especially in terms of his career. When he posed my the challenge of greater and better publicity, it felt like, a threat initially. But somehow, I cannot be sure whether it's my ego again, that pushed me to accept that challenge in haste. Whatever the case, I'm gonna work hard to work it out. Because this time round, theres no win or lose situation, its a win win for the both of us. (:

Watched Surrogates with Gary today. Totally rocked. We almost chose Phobia 2 to be the movie for the night - until we watched the trailer on youtube. Gosh, it made my hair stand. LOL. Surrogates had a good plot with a subtle and meaningful ending. (: Definitely worth the time and money spent. (:

Haven't spent much time with Gary like that though. (: So it felt good. Ultimate relaxation. Like a real 'slack and chill out' session for once. Hung out at TCC @ Pomo, walked around Sunshine Plaza, had a bowl of yummy Braised Beef Noodles, and ended the night with an awesome movie. :D

Okay, my mum sent me a stinker sms, which wasn't so nice. :( But okay, she's a mother. And I guess she has her ways of making me listen to her. LOL. Alright, off I am to sleep. :D

BTW, OMG, IM SO DANG PROUD OF MY LAPTOP. IT LASTED THE WHOLE DAY. ON BATTERY AT HIGH PERFORMANCE LEVEL. LOL. AND NOW IT STILL HAS 2 HOURS OF BATTERY LEFT! HAHAHA. THIS IS SERIOUSLY AWESOME. :D

Meetings filled Monday till today. Everyday for something else. HAHA. Sometimes I really wonder whether I will ever pull off such a stunt when semester starts. Whatever the case, I made myself a promise that I'll give 101% for my academics. And 102% for my events. (:

Graduation Night, The Debut, Newspaper Collection Drives, Car Wash and The Children Christmas Party. WOOSH.
With the dedicated committees, I think its gonna be good. (:

Had a talk with rooth over a bad squabble. I really have to work on my nasty temper. I am really harsh with words. Gosh. Onward SYLVIA to a becoming a better person! :D

I'm still up. My human and brain battery is running on low reserves. The weather is so friggin' warm. And I'm hungry. :(

Was just thinking about the Science Center excursion just a few hours back. It was really fun! Thanks to the great company I had. My mum and dad were really sporting for once. (: I think my mama's starting to love my sister and I more. :D
Zhuangzhuang, Rooth, Gary, Gladys, My sister, and Shanshan. HAHA. What a weird group of kids to be wandering around the science center at 10 when we were supposed to be carrying lanterns.

Supperclub Singapore's sudden interest in Gradnight got me hyped up. But Jonathan kinda burst my bubble. He told me that the representative was actually, also an NP student. But anyhoos. I kinda thought that it was a positive start. At least! A student is keen on making this event successful too, apart from us. HAHA. :D
I really hope I get some support on this whole Gradnight thing. Cause its really draining me dry.

Now I'm supposed to be working on my slides for the awards interview at YMCA later. But gosh, I seriously needed to put some of my thoughts somewhere. Like, you know, a pensieve. Screw that lady who only told us about it yesterday. Oh wells. I hope it goes well anyway.

Just a side note, I got darn freaked out at 2a.m. Apparently I heard someone knocking on my door non stop. And then he went to the grilles to shake it and moan. Got my heart thumping like mad. My dad woke up and kinda like, scolded him. HAHA. He turned out to be my neighbour's son who got locked out and came to the wrong door. :S

Ok. Back to work. WEEEE~

Had a relaxing day at Gary's today.

Spent some time on Final Fantasy X before heading out. Gosh, Yuna is darn pretty. Add on the fact that she's drop dead sexy with her white halter and T back bra, and a cute ribbon and bead braid, together with her kimono ribbon and flowy skirt!? *faints She's just sucha candy to stare at on screen.

We headed to Macritchie.

I was in my red scuba tank. The next thing Gary and Gary's mum said was, 'Woah, Monkeys are attracted to red.' Got me stunned for a couple of seconds before I regained my composure. Its okay, I have blue track shoes to back me up surely if anything does go wrong.

Spent almost an hour chatting and strolling in the nature reserve. Covered only 2.5km before we decided to board the bus and head back. Apart from the many huge lizards we saw who gave us heart attacks by breaking off branches and dried crackling leaves, the place was serene and calm. Felt much like the older days, when the air was fresher, trees and grass were greener, and the sky so clear. Thank god for the great weather. (:

Had dinner before I headed home. Now I've been staring at my computer for ages.
Doing my best to get new faces for the nominations for Face of BA. But gosh, I only get names.
I need photos, their course. And more importantly, someone to tag them in their picture? Or else who knows which guy in the photo is being nominated!?
Ah wells. I'm still obliging.

Some how. It gets a little embarrassing when I start to become so eager to know so many people and start adding up on msn, fb and tagging them in pictures. Worse when it comes to females. They call me Bisexual and Lesbianic. Horrific when it comes to guys. They call me Unfaithful and Desperate.
Dammit. Hello. I'm just trying to find potential kings and queens. We need FACES! for the FACE OF BA competition! Not because Sylvia wants a new friend.

But gees, they ARE really friendly people! HAHA :x And I've come to like most of them. Especially the females I've talked to. :D

Alright, just needed to rant. Now I'm off to bed. I'll continue the search tomorrow. (: Nightos Humans.
