Juggling Our Way Through Life

Cale and Aiden are super creative.  They love to draw, use stickers, glue stuff.  So we bought some canvas's the other day at Hobby Lobby and had an art night.  They were so into their projects, so focused on creating.  It was really neat to watch them create with their daddy! 

I love parades.  I get all emotional and just so taken away with them. They are magical to me for some reason.  I still feel like a little kid everytime I watch them.  Today, as the WWII vets drove by in their army jeeps and tank, and the beautiful horses walked by, and I watched my kiddos and their friends get candy with such joy I thought, man I love this moment in life right now.  I also got to hang with my good friend Susie and she just refreshes me everytime we hang out.  It was a great day all around!  Thankful for this life we live, it's crazy, sometimes super stressful and hard, but today I am thankful!

We went out to Ste. Genevieve to pick up 1/4 of a cow for meat for the next year.  I just love it out there.  It's awesome and peaceful and it makes me want to move to the country.  Life just seems slower out there.  And it's just so beautiful and peaceful.  I seriously would love to have some land, have a little garden and some chickens and just slow down with life.  Maybe someday!  Here's some pics from the farm.

Cale started Kindergarten this year and Aiden started preschool.  It's been an adjustment for Cale just getting used to riding the bus and going to school 5 days a week.  I think that's a lot for a kid!  This week has been his best week yet.  He isn't sad going to school anymore, he gets up and gets on the bus and goes.  I'm so proud of him because I know it's been an adjustment.  Aiden is doing great in preschool! 

We got to go to Florida this summer in August and it was awesome.  We stopped in Gainesville for 1 1/2 days and then headed to Daytona Beach.  It was a blast.  It was so wonderful seeing my friends in Gainesville.  I miss them a lot!
