Thankful tree

We started something last year where we went outside and found a branch with lots of stems on it from a tree and we place it in a vase.  Then we cut out paper leaves and colored them and we took turns writing something on the leaves that we were thankful for.  We didn't start until like the 3rd week in November.  I was a little behind!  But it was still fun and the kids totally got into it which was neat.  Here are the things that we wrote on our leaves for the thankful tree this year:
Cale
Warm house in winter
New friend Darnisha (our sweet new friend from church)
My husband's love for me
Keysor
Life
Christ
my wife Brandi
Dad (cale wrote each of his by himself-so cute looking at the leaves now and seeing the one he wrote by himself!)
Everything
Snuggle time
Good health
Wonderful family
Cat (don't know where he got that one from, we don't even have a cat)
Mom
Dogs
My 2 sons Cale and Aiden
House
Aiden
karate class

Wish I would have taken a picture of the thankful tree before we started putting up Christmas decorations, but we got so excited to put the Christmas decorations up that I took all the leaves off before I could get a picture.  We do have a lot to be thankful for!
