一举两得!

Mr bf, I got a splendid idea that I really think you would like it (: Wanna know more about it? LOL!

This time I swear, it's really a great idea of mine. Haha!

Will tell you more in my next entry ok :D

*hint: 一举两得! *(to kill 2 birds with 1 stone)

Oh, speaking of which, I'm glad I managed to pull myself outta bed this morning to go church for workday (to clean the church). Thank God that I missed bus 28 and ended up taking bus 8 and having to walk a distance to church. I passed by Mr Teh Tarik (TT) nearby church, and I thought I saw Jocelyn (:

I have been wanting to meet up with Joc for months but being popular us, we couldn't find time even for coffee. Thinking that that could really be Joc, I walked backwards literally, to double check. Lo and behold, it was really her! Apparently her work was cancelled that very morning and was having breakfast at TT. Haha! Decided to grab the opportunity and chatted abit. We ended up having teh and prata, with a dose of laughter and familiarity once again.

God honours us in different (weird/ interesting) ways when we first honour Him, ain't it! Haha! Glad to have caught up abit with busy lil Joc (: jiayou girl!!

Well, I ended up being slightly late for workday, with Bing Sheng waiting patiently for me. Haha! Workday was good, just me and him talking and me listening more of his NS stories and all. Haha! Mopped and vaccumed levels 1 and 2, perspired and talked alot more.

Ate chicken rice for brunch, and I discovered he has a small stomach and appetite. Haha! Funny tall dude, my gosh. he's 1.88m lah! I feel like a lil girl standing beside him, although theoretically he's younger than me and should be called lil boy instead. Ha! I'm blabbering nonsense again.

Oh, I finally managed to do some catching up with Ee Ling too. Been awhile and I'm glad that things in her life are starting to take better shape and size. LOL! You go girl, God will be your pillar of strength at all times (:

Geez, suddenly I realised this week I feel especially blessed. Is it just CNY or what?! Haha! I thank God for my increased angbao income despite the bad economy, the lil catchups, those friends and family who truly care, my wonderful net of all height and age ranges, Uncle Melvin *woo hoo* and great home-cooked food! YAY!

Ok, I feel satisfied bcos I've blogged 3 entries in total for this week, better than the previous weeks of Jan'09. February will be a better month, with all the love and blessings to come!

Can you feel the love tonight~~ I feel all random and high now!

Blogging Hiatus Still in Progress!

I know, I still haben start updating my blog much this month. No mood to go online to blog,  despite all the festivities and numerous activities. Din bother to take pics during CNY either. A waste yes, but my hp camera's auto focus sucks so bad that I hate to even snap myself ok! Sighs. Maybe February will be a good blogging month lah.

Maybe the place where I'm using my Mac at, affects my blogging mood too. This month I shifted to my cosy bed = blogging's out. Last year round, I was sitting at my table = lotsa blogging. Oh wells, pray hard that I'll be seated at my table next month. I dunno what I'm typing but I know its taking up lotsa lines and I'm pleased. LOL! Ain't you?

I really got many pics in my hp, but I'm still very lazy to poke in that cable into my hp to transfer the pics out. Haha! Maybe someone can help me do that? I dun wanna sit by my Mac just to sort out pics, although I got all the time in the world right now. Ha! I hate LG Viewty!

Basically I'm just crapping here, so just go on to the last line of this entry.

I'm hungry and irritated, by many people and many things. It's definitely not me, this time round. It's them all. Annoying and shitty, full of dumb excuses and bullshit, I say.

Last but not least, my favourite phrase once again, "A hungry Julia is an angry Julia".

Happy 牛 Year!

MOOOO~!

It's the year of the OX! Woo hoo! 1 more year to the year of the TIGER! RAWWRRR!!

I wish all of you: my beloved family, dear buddies and friends from all circles, VFC youths and my cool net members and everyone else whom I've met in one way or another! Thank you for being so tolerant with me during the past year or so. Hahaha! Big feat, I know =)

Hope that everyone enjoyed the reunion dinners during the past week, and let's look forward to bonding with our relatives once again during this festive season! May everyone be prosperous and good health to be upon you! Let's HUAT ar! 红包啊,我们来找你了喔!

恭喜恭喜恭喜你呀!
恭喜恭喜恭喜你。。 ^^v

Oh ya, my pics are not transferred into my Mac yet, so well my bad about the cobwebs on this blog for now. It's for an awesome purpose why you're waiting for an update right?! LOL!

Lazy Couch Potato

p/s: click on that Toblerone ad on my sidebar. It's quite interesting =)

Woo hoo! The 500th post of my blog, after 5 years of blogging! That shows how not free I am to blog lah. LOL! Average 100 posts per year =) Good stuff in those entries ok!

Anyway, my apologises that the blog has not been updated much lately. I noticed the readership went down by almost half sia. Ha! Sorry that I have been super lazy to blog lately. Haven't been at my Mac for days bcos simply lazy to go online. Found out that being a couch potato watching TV/vcds is far better and easier to do, rather than being online chatting and finding jobs =X geez!

Oh wells, I promise I'll try to update sth by midweek ya. Heehee =) Got loads of pics, just lazy to transfer and upload from that Viewty shit hp to my Mac. The very convenient method of doing Bluetooth transfer couldn't work well with LG, unlike my old SE hp, so too bad for now. Will cable transfer one fine day ba.

Just to update abit now, I cut my hair shorter, I still am jobless, CNY is coming and I dun intend to buy anything new this year, I'm looking forward to our yearly buddies' CNY visitation this year round, and I am wondering who will NOT be coming. HA! -p/s: no offence to be taken for that statement-  Not happy, call me to settle (aka clarify) ok!

Good day mates!

I'm A Grumpy Auntie!

I'm still feeling sian and pek chek. I need to rant abit here. ARGHHH!!!

From the job search to the haircut I wanna get, to the facial date I wanna fix with Ying Xi, to the yoga date with Mei, to the amount of time I wanna spend with bf and buddies, to the dreadful figures in my bank account, and to the fast-approaching Chinese New Year in end January.

I'm very moody and irritated every single day. WHY? I dunno either. Slacking at home too much is taking a mental toll on me, I can't afford to waste time now. Time is MONEY! I need more lobangs, although Jemima has some for me already. Thanks girl, but I wanna select a good temp job so I can save enough for the Bangkok trip with Joan.

Meanwhile I think I should be a good girl and help Uncle Melvin at Toa Payoh. His office is in a mess, so many paperwork and rubbish to sort out. He commented b4 that having girls around is good. We girls are very organised, always ready to pack the room and sort out stuff systematically for the guys. He then started comparing with the video and sound boys, who are better at menial stuff, which is true to a larger extent ya (:

Anyway that was just to digress to cheer myself up abit. I'm going mad. Grumpy and annoying, just like a old auntie now.

Ip Man... & Rocking Lard

Ip Man (pronounced eep-mun), is about Bruce Lee's kungfu master's younger days and how Wing Chun (Ip Man's practising kungfu) evolved and came to Hong Kong.

Well, it's been a long time since I watched a movie that really kept me glued to my seat, although my bladder was exploding any moment.

Every scene was so anticipated and real that we, especially the Chinese in the cinema, were charmed by Donnie Yen's acting and fighting skills, the villains, the helpless and the brave Chinese protrayed in the movie, as it was in the actual WWII.

However, the movie was abit ruined thanks to this "Rocking Lard" sitting next to me. Apparently we watched at the Grand Cathay cinema, and that row of seats that me and bf were sitting at was rather shaky. Note: It is most shaky when people fidget in their seats.

I was sitting in between my bf and this fat guy aka Rocking Lard. In the beginning no1 moved, every1 was very comfortable in their seats. Halfway thru the show, I reckon most of our butts were abit numb so I was one of those who adjusted my butt and the seats did shake. Nope, I'm not that heavy, sorry to disappoint you folks.

Somehow, this fatty got the hang of it and starting shaking and adjusting himself for the rest of the show. I was rather pissed but insistent of not wanting to change seats to the side sector, bcos the centre sector seats are better! I started showing my annoyance by making that irritating sulky sound, you know all girls does that when they are displeased or annoyed. Haha!

He ignored me and continued watching the show and rocking the seats with his freaking fat ass. I tell you, if not for patience, bf and I would have shouted at him right there when Ip Man was kicking some ass onscreen, alright!

Even his petite lil gf was telling him that the row of seats shook whenever he moved, but apparently he din care and continued to move his fat ass around. At the end of the show, they happily walked out of the cinema, feeling indignant about the whole shaky chair affair. Stupid lard boy.

So, we grumbled to bf's mum and guess what she said... "Aiya, I think the reason why he kept doing that was bcos his butt was too big for the seat lah". I was surprised, bcos Cathay actually boasted about having chairs bigger than the usual GV and Shaw cinemas. So if Rocking Lard can't fit into big Cathay chairs, that shows one thing, his ass is really BIG and FAT!

Thank you.

Other that Rocking Lard incident, Ip Man is a must-watch show. Donnie Yen is a charmer, so calm and composed in the movie. Next up, I heard Seven Pounds is good, quoted from Amos. Ha!

Sighs.

I'm starting to feel annoyed at the amount of shitty jobs available in the market now. Maybe I should just slack on this month and not think about anything else. No $$ then I'll just stay home and rot. Sighs.

My complexion isn't getting any better, it must be the long absence in going back to do facial. Sighs. I'm having massive pimple breakout and I look hideous. God, can You please gimme new skin for my entire body again, and especially flawless Asian skin on my face (: ?

That new LG crap Viewty handphone is not very good to use, especially sms-ing. It even hang when I touch the "buttons" on the screen too fast and furious. Sometimes the whole phone just auto switch off, just like my good ol' SE phone. Sighs. The internal processor for this phone is bad. The reception thing for calls is lousy, some open areas in Singapore can't receive any network signal at times. Wah lao eh!

I'll feeling the PMS thing now, so irritating. Sighs. I got so many things stuffed in my mind, not knowing how to begin sorting them out either. I got no good organiser for 2009 to begin with and I feel like, the popular and busy me, is having so many pending appointments forgotten that I'm sure some people are gonna kb me soon enough. Ha!

Off to bed, we'll see how the day goes on later. I pray that God will answer my needs. Amen!

VFC Youth Camp '08: Take This City

Geez.. This entry is almost 1 month overdue. LOL!

I got up at an unearthly time of 5.30am, bcos Kristen and Michelle wanted to go Yishun earlier and by their mum's request, I had no choice. We took a cab there and reached at 7am! We were among the first few retards to reach lah! Julia won't have never done that on her own, ya!

These were all the bags we were carrying to Youth Camp. Crazy, I know.

Kristen really pose well eh. She packed her whole bedroom into that black bag. Scary.
Waiting for briefing, all excited but half-awake. LOL!
Ashton and Brittany, sitting behind me and Stefanie in the coach.
The sleeping pigs!
We are so bored, we ended up played Winnie the Pooh UNO!
Bored to sleep, literally!
The Teepees rooms.
Amazing Race, right after we alighted from the coach ):

Bad timing, with the continuous drizzle and grumpy us. No1 wanted to play and were so looking forward to resting in the rooms upon arrival instead.
Next, we went to the horse stable, and I snapped some pics on the way.
The horse with one gigantic white mole on its face. LOL!
Almost-black beauty.
白马王子* (literally translate - white horse prince) ^^
Kaypoh lil horse, keep peeping out of its stable to look at us humans.
Cute lil horse. Funky mane-style.
Horse carriage in Port Dickson!
Goats on the paintball field -.-!
I call it the uphill zebra-crossing :D
Wei Shane, Stefanie and me, in Kudos group. Without their company during camp, I think I would be more grumpy than ever. Ha!
The session hall for the past 4 days, was ever infested with lotsa flies and mozzies.
Bandwagons to sleep in!
BW12 =) Look how retardedly happy Sook Yi is =P
The adjourning room, BW10 =)
Stairway to Crap Sleep!

The sleeping area above us. I feel super bad for the R7/8 girls who slept there, the bedding etc were in disgusting condition, I say.
The metal ladder is so cranky and unsafe, that whenever you step on it, it feels like the bolts and nuts attached to the wood on top, is gonna drop off anytime =\
The shitty lamp at the adjourning door =\

Each time we open the cupboard door, it knocks the lamp and it tilts about 10° anti-clockwise. Very scary and I was praying so hard that the lamp dun drop on us, else we gotta pay for it!

BW14 - the room opposite us =)
Dining area, quite a rustic country-like feel. Not forgetting the amount of flies buzzing around us too. Sighs.
Supper time, with our faithful cup noodles!
Staying up to chit-chat. The R7/8 girls are very friendly people =)
The afternoon our room became a beauty salon. LOL!
On my birthday, Wei Shane was attempting some brotherly handshake to me.
YAY!
Love these kids.

They made my day on my birthday, and of course the other youths who sang me a birthday song at breakfast too. To my roommates for the simple cup noodles supper and song, hugs and love, along with that crap Malaysian tv show in the background. Thanks to Reen and Gladys from R7/8 for that lil sweet and note during the night session.

Me, the room i/c for BW 12.

It was no easy task, all the drama and spot checks in the middle of the nights. Sighs. That explains my panda eyes lah!
Was bored during breakfast. Random egg shell got inscribed with my awesome name v^^v
KUDOS note of encouragement from every1 to every1! Pardon the wrong orientation, Blogger sucks sometimes.
KUDOS! From a sian-sian group, to a quite-on group! 2nd last in the games rankings but definitely great people in the group!
With Benadiah and Wei Shane ^^v
I dunno why Sook Yi so buai song in this pic ):
Joyna, the one-eyed laughing monster!
A cheery-looking Yook Si and -ahem- Lulia Jeow -.-!
Yes, Samuel the wannabe ah-beng is trying to disturb Lynette. Typical him.
R5/6 group shot! All 74 of us~
Candid shot of R5/6! Whoot~!

On our way back to Singapore. Finally!

I'm quite lazy to go into details about the camp, bcos I rather remember the good and fun times instead of the annoying stuff that happened.

God bless you all, and let's go take this city of young leaders! YAY!
