Musical Genius

Hello All,
Well it has been a busy few weeks.  We are all well.  Jacob has learned that he can carry step stools around, so Colleen and I now need to move everything (knives, food, pens & pencils, schoolwork, etc.) another 2 feet higher.  He is also strong enough to open the refrigerator and microwave (where I found a coat hanger and jar of cinnamon today).
We had a great weekend up in Victor, New York, to celebrate the Christening of our new nephew Jackson Patrick Stover.  The whole family was there including all 7 cousins, 4 sets of parents, 2 grandparents, and some extended family.  Jacob, with his imporved hearing thanks to the tubes in his ears, is now a little afraid of the tractor (only when it is running though, otherwise he is all over it.)  Brendan and Lauren watched over Jacob which was great!  We have a musically inclined family (as evidenced by two cousins' names Miles and Ella) and all the cousins were great with Jacob.  They even invited him to a jam session (featuring Miles, Ella and Ethan.)
I know Ethan has the method down, Ella has the timing, and Miles is the band leader, but Jacob certainly brings the enthusiasm.  Since we have returned he wakes up calling for one of the cousins, or often one of the aunts (or Echo the cat, but she doesn't really count.)
Hope all is well with everyone and we will keep in touch.
