Okay, so it isn't the greatest thing in the world, but late last week I started working as a part-time secretary. Wahoo! I get about 32 hours in a week (including work on Saturday), so it'll bring some money in, and that's exciting in itself.
The good news is, it's also helped me get into more of a routine. I've actually been exercising more often (before I get ready for work), and I'm using my time better than I have for the past month or two. Juggling our one car is a little tricky, but things could be much worse.
I'm still waiting to hear on one PR job, but I'm not holding my breath.
The baby is kicking like crazy, and that's kind of fun (except when I'm trying to fall asleep). Two Sundays ago Rob actually felt it for the first time, and this past Sunday morning he was kicking enough that we were just watching my stomach bounce around with his movement. :)

"30, Flirty, & Thriving" . . . or not
For some reason that movie line has been running through my head quite often this week . . . probably because on Monday I entered my 30's (and I'm grateful that my life isn't like the 30's portrayed in most of the movie). Between that movie line, and thinking "holy cow, I'm gettin' old" running through my head, I've also been thinking God is kind and life is good.
Last Friday we had a little get together with friends I had yet to see since moving here--a bonfire and s'mores in the backyard.
Monday Rob only had one class, so he came home early and we had a laid back afternoon. Early evening Rob made me a dark chocolate birthday cake from scratch (yum!), and we went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner.
And still, my birthday present (season tickets to the football games) have three more games to come-yea!
The move to Utah's been good. Rob's doing really well in school (and enjoying it). Though I'm not "thriving" by the world's standards (still unemployed), I've had more time to walk, read, and rest and I'm enjoying all of that plenty. This week I've felt the baby kicking many times a day, too--I'm excited for the day to come when Rob can feel him, too.
