Just Mom and Me

I know it has been a while since I have posted anything! Since July I had 2 wedding showers, one bachlorette party and a wedding I was apart of for my sister. Amanda and Mike were married on September 17, 2009. A lot of my family came up from Texas and it was so much fun. Kade played soccer then went on to flag football 101 and now is in basketball. He is constantly keeping me busy with sports. He also started Kindergarten and is doing very well. Unfortantly the daycare he was in was garbage. There is only one other option of daycares to drop off and pick up from his school and I wasn't that impressed ecspecially for the price they were wanting to charge me (lets just say it is what I paid for full time when he was an infant). So now starting Jan. 4th he will be back at the private school he attended for Pre-K both years. I am so EXCITED and so is Kade!!! I am still working 2 jobs and getting ready for us to go to Texas this next week for Christmas. I hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas ! I will try and get updated pics from everything up soon.

June was a busy month! Kade turned 6 on June 5th. I cannot believe my baby is 6! We didn't do a birthday party I just took him out to dinner, took him to Toys R Us to pick out what he wanted then we went to Courtney's softball tournament which they ended up taking 1st place. We also went camping up at Current Creek where we went horseback riding, four wheeling and fishing. Baseball finished and he did really good he only struck out 3 times out of 2-3 times at bat each game and two games a week for 2 1/2 months. I also ended up getting a new car.

Chan got stuck and Steve had to come rescue her...well she ended up pushing on the gas to soon and put a rooster tail of mud and water up in Steve's face...Whoops

When were were on our horse ride Kade stayed with Stacy and Steves family... Andy decided to tease the horse Chan was on and he took off running and mine went after. It was so much fun but then Chan's horse came up on us too fast swerved around and Chan fell off. She was okay and it was really funny. Needless to say Chan kind of had a rough weekend.

We went camping in the mountains with some friends just from Sat. to Sun. night. It was so much fun. Stacey and Steve came up with their horses and 2 of Steves buddies brought their mules, there were 10 total. Stacey was a doll and watched the kids for me and Chan so we could go. We went for about 4 hours I think. My bum was sore for a few days after. The above picture was of Sarah helping me put up the tent.

This was his last day of preschool. They had a little field day and I went and helped out. They had six different groups and activities and I was in charge of one of the groups. Above is him and Ayden. This was Kade's last year at the catholic school and next year he will be going to public. I can't believe I am going to have a Kindergardener even though he was supposed to have been this last year but I held him back. I am thinking about doing it again because I am not ready to have a Elementary student,haha.

This was at her tournament a few weeks ago in Orem. They ended up taking 2nd after they got all the way to the championship undefeated and killing all of the other teams. They lost so had to play again and lost again. It was a bummer because they have bet that team already quite a few times in other tournaments. It was fun and she is doing really good! GO SLAM!

Kade is in coach pitch this year and is doing AWESOME!!! He has only struck out once. He hits soo good and has gotten a couple doubles. He loves getting the other players out and does really good in the in field. It is so fun and cute to watch.
