American Idols Live...
I just wanted to inform all of you that I did attend American Idols live last night and it was amazing. I got to see Michael Johns sing "We are the Champions" and "We will rock you"---which was AMAZING. I got to see David Cook live...that was truly the icing on the cake. The others were good and I must say they have all improved since the season. It really was a great expericence and I will post pictures later...once I find the cord to attach my camera to my laptop...

some things are just too good...
Ok, I know that in my life there are random things that I see. I hope you have come to realize this in that last few blogs, and I am going to give you a few more random things that I have experienced and a few random things that are too good to be left unsaid.
First...
I know that my blog is not read by hundreds and hundreds of people, it is really more like thousands I know. No, seriously...it is about 7 people, but hey whatever. Now, to those faithful seven, actually six because this is about Debra, so she already knows it.
My dear friend Debra is having a ring give away on her blog. I could try and explain all the details, but I will just give you the link and let you read for yourself...she is much better at words than myself. The website is http://www.debraparkerdesign.com/
Second...
At the beginning of the church service there is a video that plays every week that tells what is going on. The next sermon series is titled "David" and just to make sure that everyone knew it was David from the Bible, they played a clip of a David Hasselhoff video just to clear up any confusion...in case you thought it was David Hasselhoff that the sermon series was over. It was a pretty strange sight to see David Hasselhoff singing and preforming in a cheesy video at church. But I guess it got everyones attention...it certainly got mine.
Third...
Random sighting...and this is going on here because some one who will remain nameless (his name starts with a D and ends with ave) keeps having someone ask if it is on the blog yet. As me and some of my friends were headed to purchase a tasty snow cone (because it is Texas and it is HOTTTTT) we pulled up behind a car that had a piece of furniture in it's trunk. Now any normal person would get a bungee cord, string, or something to that affect to tie the trunk down with but this person was not a normal person apparently. Because in order to hold the trunk down they had...are you ready for this...suspenders!!!!! And not just ordinary suspenders my friend, red, white and blue suspenders. It was pretty much the most awesome thing I saw all day!
Forth...
Last night some friends of mine and myself went on a little trip to Sonic...they have the best drinks EVER!!! I don't know what it is about a sonic drink...it is just awesome. Now there are five of us in the car. We pull up to the (for lack of a better term) "stall" and 3 of the 5 people in the car can see inside the sonic. (I was not fortunate enough to have a seat that enabled me to see this spectacle). Inside the sonic was one of the workers apparently listening to music (and for the sake of the story I hope there was music playing) and not caring that anyone was watching was dancing. Those able to see this started laughing. We then ordered, and he continued dancing. Then while our beverage choices were being made he decided to have a conversation with us over the speaker. Once that conversation was over, the driver of the vehicle that we were in decided to back up so those of us without a view could actually see the dancing. The dancer then came out to the vehicle and wanted to know if we ordered drinks. At this time our beverages were done so the lady came to deliver them. We passed out the beverages and proceeded to leave, because we had a game of cranium to play. As we are pulling off, he dances some more and then proceeds to start taking his shirt off. I am glad we got out of there when we did, because who knows what else may have been taken off.
(side note: there is now a group on facebook called "I have witnessed a striptease at sonic")
