Applegate's

We were married in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple December 2005. Since then we have had many adventures: studying at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand, visiting my family in the Dominican Republic, Kade was a Huntsman Scholar and traveled to Paris, Brussels, London, Washington D.C. and New york. We have a two year old little girl that keeps me busy. She is such a little diva princess. Both of us graduated from USU. Kade received a double Bachelor's in International Business and Economics. Amanda graduated in Sociology. Kade is now working towards an MBA at BYU.

And for the Big News

Kade is wrapping up his first year as an MBA student, he will officially be done on Wednesday, Yay (party dance)! I am so proud of him, I could never have done what he has. As part of the program the students do an internship between the two years. I am excited to announce, drumroll.........

We are going here:

Kade is going to be interning for T-Mobile in Bellevue, Washington. We are so excited. Other than his visit to the company in January and fly back for interviewing in March neither one of us has spent time there. I have been doing some research about fun things in the area and it seems like a super cool place for the summer. I am so excited. We are also planning to go to Vancouver, Canada because it is so close and visit some MBA friends in Portland that are doing their internship. Any one else who knows about the area and has ideas for fun things to see and do. Let us know. I am also looking forward to the month Kade is going to have in between school and when the internship starts. Let the party begin!

We like to party

So contrary to the lack of posts and pictures, we do like to celebrate holidays and love our family traditions. Easter was super fun with Annie this year as she is old enough to understand everything and anticipate what is to come. She of course was spoiled by grandparents and that silly Easter Bunny. However I only mangaged to caputure two photos of the fun. If anyone who celebrated with us got any other pics please send them my way.

My Birthday was the Monday after Easter, Happy Birthday to me. Even though Kade is super busy with the end of the school year and preparing for finals he was able to take the evening off to take me on an awesome date. We went downtown to the new city creek center and walked around and ate at the cheescake factory, super yummy!
The Friday before we had a party with his family. My awesome sister in law put on the best party that included: italian sodas, pizza, yummy cupcakes, and just dance 3. It was the perfect way to celebrate.
I can't leave out the party with my family on Easter Sunday which included yummy cheescake from Costco.
All in all I was spoiled. I was reminded how blessed I am to have such amazing friends and family who made my birthday special.
And now for your viewing pleasure some pics of me at city creek:

And because I couldn't resist this awesome gem of a picture my sister captured at our chocolate fondu party with my parents a few weeks ago.
