Easter
After celebrating Caleb's rookie year, the next day was Easter! In all, I think Ella had about 5 Easter egg hunts by the end of the weekend. She knew exactly what to do... Caleb still needs a little help :)

What's going on in room 402?
A lot! That's what! We have been super duper busy learning multiplication. These kiddos are awesome, too! I just love watching their little minds figure stuff out. And they were especially anxious to learn multiplication - they think they are big kids now that they know how to "times".
This day we were making equal groups with our fruit loops on our marshmallow stands. They loved it! And the best part - they got to eat it when they finished!
This little cutie is counting away.
Don't you wish you could hear the conversation between these two? They are both smarty pants... so I'm sure it was something like "hey, ten times ten is one hundred." The one on the left is the same student that gave me a lesson on the atmosphere and why stars twinkle. SO smart!

We talked about probability before we started multiplication.
They had to write about the probability of "when pigs fly".
I loved all their creative ideas of how pigs would be able to fly.
Back on March 1st we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by reading
"One Fish, Two Fish"and doing our math lesson with goldfish.
Of course, a birthday party wouldn't be complete without our Cat In The Hat Hats!

I think I am ready to start blogging again.... maybe. If I can find the time. I actually have time right now because it's 9:49 at night, I am home alone, and I am procrastinating finishing the cleaning I started.

VEGAS BABY!
I guess I got a little ahead of myself blogging about Christmas first.... let me rewind!
My birthday weekend, my in-laws spoiled us with a trip to Vegas to the NFR. It was a great birthday/Christmas gift and we had a BLAST!
We met up with my cousin, her husband and two kids and Grammy (Aunt Mavis) for a night full of rodeo fun on Saturday! I don't really get in to rodoes much but it's hard not to in that environment!
Here are some highlights from the trip:
*FOOD! Great sushi, fried calamari.. YUM!
*Being in LAX, people watching!
*Shopping!!
*M&M Factory
*Cowboy Christmas
*The fantastic bed at Monte Carlo... incredibly comfy!
*Spending time with my inlaws. They can be quite a hoot!
*Getting away with my hubby. It's was really a relaxing vacation for both of us!
*The rodeo, of course!
*Starbucks everyday! YUMM
*Bellagio... gorgeous!
*Turning 27 in Vegas

Hi there.... Remember me?!?
whew, it's time to knock off the dust and break this 7month stretch of no blogging!
Let's see... Where to start??
Last time I blogged was July. Here's a rundown of what's gone on since.
August- back to school at YJH. same grade, same room, different kiddos.
September- lacey and mark (and ella) moved into their beautiful, brand new home. We found out ella was going to be a big sister in April!!! And Casey turned 27, Lacey 29, and daddy 58. Cheerleading was in full swing and full drama... But that's another blog.
October- can't think of much that happened in October. This might get updated as the dust clears from my brain.
November- thanksgiving was great with all the family here at my house in Gonzales. We also found out that Ella will be having a baby brother! We haven't quite figured out what we will do with a boy in the family... But we will learn and love him just the same.
December- I turned 27 and celebrated big in VEGAS!! my inlaws gave Casey and I the trip for Christmas, anniversary, and birthdays... It was much appreciated and we had a blast! We even went to the NFR while in town! We spent Christmas in Hamilton with my family and really enjoyed our time there. I'll do a christmas blog full of pictures next!!
Well, for now there is a quick little update... More to come tomorrow in the NEW YEAR!!!!!
