Holiday Times!

Andrew had fun watching Ashleigh at her Daisy Christmas party.

Ashleigh loved passing out her favorite chocolate muffins at Daisies.

Kamren had a blast at our annual Christmas Family Home Evening with some friends.

Sweet Andrew got lots of loves!

Ashleigh adores her friend Sadie.

I've always wanted an advent calendar that taught the meaning of Christmas. Fisher Price just came out with one this year and the kids loved it!

This year, the girls decided to have greys and blacks for Christmas.

We had so much fun with our friends collecting money for Salvation Army to give to the less fortunate. It's a tradition we have kept every year.

The girls really are best friends!

Kamren is such a great big brother.

The boys look so nice in black and grey!

We love our four children!

Andrew is our busy little climber.

If he's not on the dishwasher, he's on a stool.

If he's not on a stool, he's on a chair.

Thanksgiving and Christmas Festivities

I decided to start the tradition of giving the family an ornament on Thanksgiving day instead of Christmas Eve. That way everyone can enjoy the ornament during the season. The kids were excited to get a present on Thanksgiving.

I've never ran in a Turkey trot before so this year I thought I would try it since my family was doing it in California. I'm glad my friend wanted to do it too. There were alot more hills than I thought but we made it.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with some friends. It was nice to relax and enjoy the day together. The children played and made some fun crafts.

Brynn got so excited that it was snowing that she just ran outside and played in it.

We had so much fun making our gingerbread houses the day after Thanksgiving. We do them every year and the kids love choosing candy out of the bins at the store.

It amazes me how fast Kamren can go through shoes. I've tried all different kinds of brands and they seem to wear out about the same. I wasn't paying attention to his shoes and then I saw they had holes in them. Who knows how long he has been playing in them with holes. The holes didn't even phase him. He definitely gets good use out of his shoes.

Every year we have a tradition to make something for our neighbors. This year we shared our favorite hot cocoa recipe. It's so fun to have something warm on those cold winter days.

My sweet friend just sent me this knitted hat made with love. I love Andrew in it and we will definitely get good use out of it. He stills loves to eat everything. He is now 20 lbs. and has 8 teeth!

Today we saw Mrs. Claus and enjoyed doing some crafts.

They loved talking to Santa and telling him what they wanted for Christmas.

Our neighbors invited us over this year to paint cookie shape ornaments. The girls loved to put glitter on them and Kam and the boys enjoyed playing with legos more.

The girls loved sledding today along with just playing in the snow. It was such beautiful weather.

Kamren loved building a fort. Kevin took this picture and I love how it turned out. It makes want to play in the snow.

Brynn loves to take the wipes and dust around the house. She really loves to clean. She is so nice to have around.

Ashleigh told me that she wrapped up baby Jesus (Andrew) in the blanket. She loves to play nativity.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Last Friday, Ashleigh asked at 7 a.m. if we could get the Christmas stuff out. That's all I needed to get them out. We brought in all the bins from the shed and had a blast putting up the decorations. I just love this season. We decided to take some pictures with all of the kids in their Santa hats.

Every year for Thanksgiving we have the opportunity to serve at Salvation Army to fill 600 boxes of food for those less fortunate. It was so fun to watch Kamren work so hard to help make the process go faster. We were able to fill all of them in 18 minutes. It's amazing at how fast it can be if we all work together.

It was also fun doing it with some friends this year.

We had our neighbor come with us and she loved it too!

Our neighbor's mom made this beautiful shawl and Ashleigh just loves it. She sure loves to get dressed up and she loves to add accessories to her outfits. She is growing up way too fast. Ashleigh is now singing the song "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth."

Happy 7 months old Andrew! He is cute as ever. He now has four teeth. He loves to scoot backwards and roll over. He is such a happy baby and boy does he love food.

Kamren just received his Wolf award. We are so proud of him. He really loves scouts.

Sweet Andrew can now say "ma ma"!

Family Pictures

We are still waiting for our camera to get sent back to us from getting repaired so our neighbor was nice enough to take a few pictures of our family in their backyard. I love black and white pictures!

Pumpkin Fun

Ashleigh had so much fun picking out the pumpkins for the family this year at a nearby market.

Here's the before picture of the pumpkins.

We had so much fun for Family Night. We went to a historical place where they raised turkeys. The kids enjoyed playing on the tractors, exploring the pumpkin patches, and seeing some farm animals.

We enjoyed eating a fun turkey dinner together at this place. They also had a fun bakery.

I was in charge of Brynn's preschool Halloween Party. The kids were so amazing during the party. We had fun with tombstone musical chairs, treasure hunt to find a cat, trick or treating in the house, and having fun with pumpkins.

We had fun eating spiders, eyeballs, and monster hands for snack.

Kevin was so nice to make us whole wheat crepes for breakfast on Halloween and we made them into pumpkins. You can't go wrong with bananas and chocolate. The picture is dark because my flash just broke on my camera. Bummer!

Kamren decided to be Obi Wan Kenobi from Star Wars for Halloween. May the force be with you! It was nice that a neighbor let us borrow all the stuff. I was able to make the cape so he'd be a little warmer.

Ashleigh is our Hannah Montana! She even learned to sign her name in cursive. Another wonderful neighbor gave us this costume.

Brynn wanted to be a butterfly! She loves pink and purple.

Andrew didn't have a choice but we made him a cute duck and he was warm on a cold Halloween night.

All the kids had fun carving their pumpkins. Happy Halloween!
