Family Reunion

We had a few hours with grandpa before we went to my family reunion. He picked us up from the airport and we went to his reunion for a couple of hours. We weren't expecting cold weather and no luggage but our sister in law was so gracious and took care of us with warm clothes.

Our flight was delayed 3 hours because of a storm. This sweet little dog was a distraction for our kids for many hours. We missed our connection in Denver because we were so late with our other flight. We had to stay the night in Denver. We got in our hotel at 2 a.m. and had to get up at 5 a.m. to catch our flight to SLC. It was crazy especially because our luggage was lost and we didn't get it until late that night. The kids were amazing throughout this whole journey.

All of my siblings and mom went to visit our 90 year old grandma.

At our reunion we had tons of family games.

We couldn't have asked for better weather. We only had a day of rain and the rest of the week was beautiful.

The cousins had a movie night together.

Kevin did the ropes course. He looked like a pro!!!

It was fun to go to church at camp.

Dad and I did the ropes course. We were so proud of dad because he was scared of heights. Climbing the wall was difficult for me but I made it. I had great cheerleaders in the family to help me along.

Kamren had a blast fishing with his cousin Colin.

Brynn loved going on the train ride at Frontier night with her cousins.

My sister, mom and I went to visit our wonderful aunt who has parkinson's disease. She is so positive.

We had a blast geocashing.

Brynn and Ashleigh loved wearing similar colored shirts each day at camp.

On our last day we went on a beautiful hike to a waterfall.

This is where Kevin and I were engaged 11 years ago. It was fun to be where we could celebrate our 11th anniversary.

Ashleigh and her cousin Ashlyn truly bonded. They are only 6 months apart. They sure loved their time with their counselors.

This is where we stayed. They are only a year old.

We sure loved visiting BYU. It rained for a little bit and then it was a beautiful day. We were able to shake President and Sister Uchtdorf's hands. It was an amazing experience for all of us.

We went to the Oquirrh temple open house. This was our children's first time going through a temple open house. They even have refreshments after the tour. The kids loved that.

We walked Temple Square and also showed the children the Conference Center.

The kids truly were so easy on all of our flights and time in the airport. They sure loved the walkways.

Andrew pretty much slept on all of the flights. This was his first flight.

I couldn't have asked for a better reunion with my family. We haven't all been together with all of our spouses in five years. We had plenty of time to get to know each other better. It was so much fun to see the cousins bond. We loved it so much we plan to do it again in 3 years. I can't wait!!

Summertime

I took the kids bowling because it was free and they had a great time. I couldn't believe they lasted two games.

We had fun looking at the airplanes at the museum. They had fun showing Andrew all of their favorite airplanes.

My friend let me borrow this bumbo and Andrew is just starting to get the hang of it. The kids love watching him sit up.

We celebrated Father's Day a week early because we are out of town on Father's Day. We had fun making Kevin breakfast and dinner. He was the king of the day!

Father's Day Video

Kevin put together our annual video of the year. We chose music that reminded us of our children. It doesn't flow perfectly but we have a great memory of them. Enjoy!!

Time Is Flying

Life with four is very busy, but we are so grateful for each of them. Here is what we've been up to.

Kamren had his Spring Recital. We are so proud of him for finishing off the year. He doesn't plan on taking piano anymore. He was doing so well, but he's not interested in taking it again. Ashleigh is now going to take piano starting in the Fall. We have a great piano teacher!

Our sweet little boy is growing up way too fast. He is now 13 1/2 pounds. Yikes, he is so big. Andrew had a staff infection on his neck this week but it's amazing how quickly he healed. We are very grateful for the medicine.

He is smiling alot and we love it. He even takes a bottle and a pacifier so easily. We are grateful that.

He is doing pretty good at night. He goes to bed around 9:30 and wakes up around 5 a.m. I then stay awake and work out at the Y. I really enjoy that quiet time and it starts my day off.

Ashleigh just finished her first year of Daisies. She is going to continue in the Fall so she can get all of her daisy patches. Brynn wants to be just like her big sister.

I am the new Wolf Den leader at church. I absolutely love being with the boys especially since I get to spend more time with Kamren. I was so impressed that the boys made pancakes, sausage, juice and cut up strawberries to pass off a requirement all by themselves. They even cleaned all the dishes and I dried them.

One of my friends made these shorts for the girls for our reunion in a week. I thought it would be fun to have them dress alike. They love them. I plan to learn to make them but right now I don't have much time.

We got a free coupon in the mail to get a build a bear so I took Ashleigh on a date to pick one out for Andrew. Oh, she was so excited to give it to him. His name of Woof!!

I sure love getting a deal. I found this beautiful dress for 14 dollars at JCPenny. I couldn't pass it up. It was sleeveless and I added sleeves to it for a $1.50. Ashleigh will wear it after she gets baptized in two years. I know it's way far away, but I couldn't pass up the price. Ashleigh can't wait to wear it again.

Kevin and I will be celebrating our 11th anniversary this Friday. We went on a date together which was so nice to have some quiet time together. I'm so grateful to have him as my husband.
