Kevin and Sonja's Joys

Yippee it's the first day of school. Ashleigh reminded me that I always give them a little gift on the first day of school. This year I bought Kamren a blue school t-shirt and Ashleigh got a pink one. They were so excited to wear it on the second day of school. Now they have a t-shirt for the spirit wear day at school.



We had fun walking together to school. Brynn was just right behind them and had a very hard time saying goodbye. Andrew doesn't quite play enough for Brynn.



Brynn gets to start preschool this week and she is so excited. She gets out her backpack everyday and wants to make her lunch just like her siblings. She is so excited to learn something new.



Ashleigh started first grade and loves her new teacher. She loves homework and loves school. I remember loving school as much as she does. It is so fun to learn!



Kamren started third grade and wants to play more at school. He isn't quite ready for school to start but he does a great job at doing what he is supposed to be doing. He is so sweet to walk Ashleigh to her class everyday and pick her up so they can ride their bikes home together. What a nice big brother!



I told Brynn that when the kids started school that I would help her get potty trained. I was a little nervous because I didn't think she would learn in a day like her siblings. To my surprise she picked up so quickly and now she is a big girl!



She earned three skittles for everytime she went to the bathroom and she earned a little lip gloss when she filled up one row. Then she filled the whole chart with stickers and earned her beautiful princess dress. She is absolutely adorable. She has so much excitement for life!




I just took Andrew to the doctors for his four month appointment. He is 16.5 lbs. and 26 inches long. He is growing way to fast. As you can see, he loves his fist and loves to grab and put whatever he can in his mouth. He is a bundle of joy. He is getting his first two teeth on the bottom. The little girl, Chloe is only 2 weeks younger than Andrew. The big sisters had so much fun imitating them.

We loved having my brother in town for the weekend. He was so sweet to rent a car and drive to visit us from his business trip.



Brynn just clung to him and loved all the fun games and treats he gave her. That's what uncles are for!



I was trying to be brave and I took the kids to a restaurant all by myself. They were so good.



Kamren had a blast being the driver! He beat us on the race track.



One last request the children had for the summer was to use their free passes to go on the go-carts. Oh, they had so much fun. I loved riding with Brynn and Andrew was so good for us because he just slept in his car seat.





I couldn't believe how much fun Ashleigh had too. I was so proud of her for trying it all by herself.





One of our friends told us about this free cooking class and we loved it. The kids really wanted to keep cooking and getting messy. Of course their favorite part was eating the treats they made.

Andrew just started enjoying his exersaucer. He loves to jump and spin the toys. He is really trying to grab and eat them too.
