October Time and Fun Trip to SC and GA.

My girlfriends and I had fun making a book into a pumpkin.  Ashleigh was so kind to donate her old dictionary!
We love eating granny apples and caramel in the Fall.
Ashleigh and Brynn got to go to a Halloween party.  Go cowgirl and soccer player.
I surprised the kids with my mom coming.  What a treat.  She was able to go to Kamren's last soccer game and go on a field trip with Andrew's preschool.  We took a hayride, ate donuts and picked apples.  It rained almost the whole time she was here. Bummer.
I love these apple cinnamon donuts and apple cider.  Give me more!!!
Grandma came with us to the store and took us on the horse for a penny.  Gotta love that deal.
Grandma had movie night with us and ate caramel popcorn and hot chocolate.
Whew!  Kam 's room is done.  He loves it so much.
He has his own space now.  We love the extra room.
Grandma had fun decorating the pumpkin cookies with the kids.  Andrew pretty much sprinkled on the orange sprinkles on his cookie.
This was the beginning of our trip to Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia.  My mom didn't know that I was going to surprise her with her sister, Jacque.
I surprised my sister too.  It was a treat for all of us to have Jacque with us.  Our first treat was eating at a yummy seafood restaurant.  I love shrimp and grits, biscuits, and hush puppies.
Jacque and I did it.  We kept it a secret for months!
We visited two plantations in Charleston.  The weather couldn't have been better on our whole trip.  This plantation was a rice plantation.  We also learned about the slaves and what they did on this site.

Middleton was the other plantation.  This was my favorite.  I loved every minute of it.  So peaceful. We were also able to see some alligators and tour the beautiful homes.
We took a boat over to Fort Sumter and learned about the battles from the Civil war.
It was so fun to talk and catch up with everyone.
We had fun at all the different hotels that we stayed at.  We loved the yummy breakfasts that was served.
Here we are in Savannah, GA touring city market.  What a cute place.  All the candy shops in Savannah and Charleston serve yummy candied pecans.
We made sure we had lots of yummy treats.  This was Leopolds ice cream that was there since 1914.
We had to take Amy to the airport early so we visited the USS Yorktown.  There was the destroyer and submarine we were also able to see.  Kamren would've loved to be here.
We had great laughs touring Savannah in an old hearse.  Our heads even bobbled throughout the tour.  I wasn't sure we were going to even make it:)  Savannah is known for one of the scariest towns in the United States.
Amy took care of us in selecting yummy restaurants.  The service was great and we loved their accents.

We toured another house at night.  Spooky.  They said this was one of the spookiest homes in Savannah.
Grandma was so kind to bring home donuts upon our arrival.
We didn't eat at Paula Deen's restaurant because there weren't great reviews but we went to her store.  So cute!!

I loved walking along the water and strolling the city. Savannah is a definite place to visit.  WE saw alot in six   days.
This was so beautiful at night.  We walked along Rainbow Row and looked at the gorgeous mansions.
Here we are at Myrtle Beach.  It' s a long beautiful beach.   It's a huge tourist town so we didn't do much.  But we enjoyed the peaceful walk.

We had fun on a horse carriage ride in Charleston.  I'm amazed at all the knowledge the tour guides have of the city.

Brynn's Birthday and more...

Brynn and Ashleigh truly are best friends and they love to dress alike everyday.  It's so sweet.  I made these skirts to wear for church.  So easy!
One of my friends inspired me with this garland.  I love to decorate the house with Fall stuff.
Orange has been my favorite color these past few years.  I love these boys in these sweaters. Connor loves to follow Andrew everywhere he goes.
Wait!!! I want to go to school too!
My craft group made these this month.   I did the more rustic colors to go with my FALL theme.
We have three bedrooms in our home so we are now getting a fourth room down in the basement for Kam. He is so excited.
Ashleigh decorated the house for Brynn and made her the sweetest card for her birthday.
This is our poor mailbox with overgrown plants.  I wanted to do something about it for a while.
Tadah!!! I just had to add some fresh paint, new mulch and a few simple plants.  I love the look so much better.  The plants are Little Henry's.  I love the fall color leaves on it and it blooms pretty white flowers in the summer.
I took this picture of Connor on our back deck.  Oh, I love his curled up toes.  He is such a happy little boy and babbles lots.
Brynn is now six!! She loved opening her presents in the morning on her birthday.  She chose breakfast cake and eggs with orange juice for breakfast.  We had tacos for dinner and even had a special visit from our Aunt Dolly, Uncle McKay and Annie.
Kamren is now our clarinet boy!  He loves to play his clarinet after playing the piano for a few years.
Kam still loves soccer.  Kevin continues to be his coach, but next year Kamren really wants to play football and it's the same season.

We just got some beadboard put up.  It makes the dining room so much brighter.
Brynn had a butterfly party. Ashleigh helped me make the cake.

She loved her time with her friends.  We did crafts almost the whole time.  Ashleigh and I painted butterflies on their cheeks.  They all got butterfly wings and decorated a few butterfly crafts.

We ate all the food from the Hungry Caterpillar book.  I read it to them and then they ate it and became butterflies!
Brynn sure loved all of her presents.
Here is the other side of the dining room.
Ashleigh and Kamren were so sweet to decorate the dining room for Kevin on his birthday.

Ashleigh has started her first year of soccer and loves it so much.  Eliza is her buddy.
We love cheering her on and Kam loves to play with his friends while we are there.
Here we come Hawaii!  Our next family reunion trip for Kevin's side of the family is in Hawaii.  We can't believe it.
Ashleigh is our fashion girl.  She was so happy to put this outfit together.
Kam loved cross country this year.  He loves running and setting goals.  These are his two good friends who ran on his team.  They placed first place in all the meets for sixth graders.
