School Begins

Sweet little Andrew going to Montessori preschool.  He loves his new teacher Mrs. Eley.

Kam  and Brynn are playing soccer on Saturdays.  They both love it.  Can you tell Kam loves it?  Honestly, he really does.  He's not into picture taking.

The weather has been amazing for September.  Our friends invited us to go on a bike ride and we got to enjoy the lake and all the activity that was there.

I finally got rid of the last of the brass in my house from my front door.  Kevin gave this to me for my birthday!  I love it!
Ashleigh and Brynn had their open house at school. Ashleigh showed me all around and then helped me sell school apparel for the PTO.
I am now officially 39.  The kids made me yummy breakfast and salmon for dinner.  I'm grateful for all the phone calls and cards.  Everyone is so nice!

Some of the neighbor kids wanted to help Ashleigh decorate my cake!  I love to watch them all work together.

For my birthday we went to Kevin's work party.  The kids had a blast riding on the camel.  It was a huge carnival and it was a sunny day.  My favorite.

The girls saved up all their tokens to get this one big rainbow fish!  Life wouldn't be the same without our neighbors Molly, Mia and Elise.  I couldn't keep up with Kam.  He was loving all the food and games on his own.  He was loving his new freedom with a phone and texting.

Colin and Kam at their first cross country meet.  They did great.

Kam and Spencer are friends at church and also at school.  It's a blessing they have each other.
Kam received his star in scouts with many other patches he earned at scout camp.  He is now working on his life!
The girls ride bikes to school every morning together until it gets cold.

Andrew loves to play with Giovanna but he calls her Julievana.  It's so cute.  They were in preschool together last year but he can't stop talking about her.  They play so well together.
Ashleigh has picture day today.  She is very into fashion and getting ready for an event.  It's so fun to watch her grow up.
Brynn wore he dress to school for picture day:)
I love this picture of Brynn.  She is so easy going and makes everyone happy.

Can't get enough of friends and playing at the park.  We are loving the weather.  We invited two of our neighbors to our ward activity at the park.
Happy Birthday Kev!  I made him his favorite pumpkin chocolate chip cake.
We found pumpkins for one or two dollars nearby and Andrew had fun picking out five pumpkins.  One for each of the kids!
We had the missionaries over for dinner for Kevin's birthday and also a friend from church.  It was fun to celebrate together.
This is Ashleigh when she's not at school.  She loves books!  She likes to read them in our bed each night.

Our friend from church gave us the rainbow loom to make these bracelets.  Ash is making them for everyone now.

I love my new table runner that my friend gave me for my birthday.  It matches everything perfectly.

We made Kevin breakfast for his birthday.  We sure love him.

Most of Kam's meets have been hot for him and he cramps so easily but he continues to finish the course.  Go Kam.  We sure love ringing those cow bells.

This was our first annual hot air balloon festival.  It was just down the road from us.  We loved watching the light ceremony with the balloons.  Kam was at the high school football game.

We also loved watching the airplanes take off and land right at the airport while the hot air balloon festival was going on.

I took the kids back in the morning to watch more hot air balloons go up.  One day I hope to ride in one.

My favorite treat for the fall is the pumpkin cookies.  Yum!

They even turned out great being dairy free for Ash!

Connor is growing up to be a big boy.  We sure love this little guy!  He loves to go to all the parks and play.  He loves to socialize too.

Every year the fifth graders get to go on a camping trip.  This was a big step for Ashleigh since she has some anxiety, but she did great!  She wants to go again.

Four of my friends recently had babies and Connor was so sweet coming along with me to visit them and deliver their gifts.

Ashleigh was so good at camp that she won the highest award along with her friend at church.  Only one boy and one girl were chosen to receive this award.  She won 200 dollars to go on another camping trip.  She can't wait to use it.  She is always happy to help others and choose the right.

I've never had a birthday party during the week but it all worked out.  Our weekends are very busy with soccer so we tried a Wednesday evening.  This year Brynn chose to have an American Girl Doll Mystery Game party.  All the girls got to dress up as their character and bring their doll.  We had a blast solving the mystery together.

We ran out of time to even play with their dolls but we will do it another time.

Ashleigh, Ella, and Molly were a little older and really helped at the party.  Brynn chose to have pizza, grapes, apples and pineapple, with olives, carrots and peppers for the vegetable.

Ashleigh helped decorate the confetti cupcakes for her party.  Brynn is our little sunshine.

Brynn loves playing the pass around the gift with music before she opens it.  I forgot to get a picture of all the decorations we did for the party.  Ashleigh did a great job hanging up balloons and making tissue flowers.

Brynn wanted donuts and orange juice for breakfast.

The kids were super happy about that idea.  She loved opening her presents in the morning.  She loved her new nail polish, craft stones, ken and barbie that Ashleigh gave her, lego sets, notebook, new clothes and shoes and everything from her loved ones.

Brynn loves her new ukulele she got from her grammy and grampy in hawaii.

Happy Birthday Ella!  They had fun making caramel apples at Ella's house to celebrate her special day.
For general conference we went to a friends new house.  They used to live close to us but they are now three hours away.  The guys went to eat and to the priesthood session.
The kids had fun cooking while the guys were at the meeting.

 Andrew's first day of preschool.
Brynn loves first grade with Mrs. Chenery.
Fifth grade is great with Mrs. Fitzhenry.  Kam had her as a teacher as well.

Good bye to the old front door and storm door.

 Happy 2nd Day of School.

Ashleigh loves to make everything cute so she helped me make her front school folder.

Happy 1st Day of School.
