City Creek Girls Day

The girls decided that it was time for a girls shopping day in Salt Lake.
Even though everyday is a girls day at our house lately!! lol
My sister Cindy and her daughter Nicole (& son Jarris) followed us down to City Creek.
We had a fun time checking out all the new stores and KaDee & I even got distracted by the shiny things in Tiffany's and had to make a small detour.
The sales people were SO nice they even let KaDee try on THEE Tiffany trademark bracelet.
We've decided to add to our bucket list that all three of us girls will own one someday. :)
Nicole had us follow her so she can show us where Nordstrom Rack is (because that's were all the good sales are) but as I followed her merging onto 400 South ( I guess as you merge onto I15 its a solid double white line) and I crossed it and sure enough Mr. Sheriff was right behind me (getting over 4 lanes of traffic to pull over is not an easy thing to do, I'm so glad I had my Co-pilots KaDee & Stephanie in the car with me!!).
I explained to Mr.Sheriff that I was not familiar with Salt Lake and all the car pull lanes, he said that 400 South was the only one in Salt Lake that as soon as you get on you have to stay in that lane until the dotted lines (good to know).
He was so nice, we kept asking questions and visiting with him for 15 minutes we learned about all kinds of laws that we had no idea about.
Oh yeah, he let me off with a warning, what a nice guy we have in our law enforcement!!

Girls Day :)

KaDee's Graduation

It was a busy morning on Friday June 1st, we had lots to do before we headed to the Dee Event Center in Ogden.
I had some mommy duties to take care of that I had forgotten to do earlier like sew a "secret pocket" into KaDee's dress for her cell phone. We learned from Stephanie's graduation that when the school tells the kids NO cell phones NOT to listen to them because you will NEVER find your kid after graduation because its a mad house!! So we came up with a brilliant idea to sew a secret pocket into her dress just big enough to fit her phone (which I might add worked wonderful!!).
Also, I had put off ironing her graduation robe, it looked like whoever had it last rolled it up into a ball and it stayed like that all year!! the wrinkles were SO hard to get out, it was such a pain,
I sent Stephanie down to pick up a balloon bouquet and when she got back she hung up graduation signs on our garage.
We left at 10:30am because I had ordered KaDee some flower's at Jimmy's floral and told them to have them ready by 10:30.
Matt wanted to go in one car so KaDee was told to close her eyes while we put her beautiful yellow and pink flowers in the back (Jimmy's always does such a beautiful job on flowers arrangements).
We got there around 11am and KaDee was supposed to line up by 11:15am.
We met Matt's Mom and Dad inside, his dad was nice enough to take alot of KaDee's pictures for us.
Her graduation turned out really nice and mom and dad only shed a few tears.
After graduation Matt's parents met us at Tepanyaki for her graduation lunch/dinner.
Our girls gave Matt and I a graduation card saying "Congratulations You've Graduated High School" it was then that we realized that we had indeed graduated high school, our baby was done and so were we.
Then in a blink of an eye it was over, no more pencils, no more books, no more teachers dirty looks....well for high school anyways :)
Later that night KaDee went to her "All Night Senior lock-in Party" at the high school where they stayed up playing until 6am (I was worried that Hayley, KaDee's friend would have to roll her in the corner because she would fall asleep but my baby girl surprised me and stayed awake for the whole night!!).

Official Rule Breaker!!

Sparky had to have some surgery this past month.
He had gotten a haircut back in January and the styisist cut his eye :'(
When we took him to the Dr. to get his teeth cleaned and some moles removed he suggested we go ahead and stitch his eye.
But our naughty little doggy kept doing the shimmy on his back and rubbling his face because he was starting to itch.
Stephanie found him this t-shirt to cover all his stitches so he wouldnt split his stitches.
Unfortunatly, when Dr. Lott was trying to remove his eye stiches he jerked and split them open again, so he had to get it restitched!!
That lasted only a couple of days because that dirty dog scratched his face again and split his stitches again!!

We thought this T-shirt fit him perfectly!! lol
