Rolling Over

Anderson is rolling over now. He rolled over a few times when he was like 5 or 6 weeks but I think it was kind of random. He rolled over in his crib on Saturday and did it again today and then rolled over twice tonight and I actually caught it on video. I don't know if he really knows what he is doing but it is cute.
Here is a video of Karoline and Anderson after waking up and of him rolling over...

One of Anderson's favorite places... the changing table.

Here is how I found Anderson when he woke up from his nap. (He is a tummy sleeper and had rolled over)

What a handsome little man...

Karoline LOVES holding Anderson. She always says "hold him" when she wakes up and it is so cute. She would hold and kiss Anderson all day long if I would let her.

Ready to go to Target...

Do bunnies like cheeseburgers?

What To Do With Our Governments Money...

Well, I want to do my part in helping our economy so when I get my check from the government I plan on spending it! :) (well part of it, then save the rest.) He he...
Seriously, I cannot remember a time when I didn't have a camera in my hands. I LOVE taking pictures, especially of my kids if you can't tell. My camera is always close by to capture new moments. I LOVE scrapbooking too which is probably why I take so many pictures. Which leads me to what I am going to do when/if we get a nice check in the mail this summer...
I want a new professional camera... a digital SLR. This has always been a dream of mine and TJ has given me the go-ahead. So if you have any suggestions of a really good digital SLR please leave me a comment because I honestly don't know where to start. They are all so confusing.
Here are some pics of the kids so that my mother does not slip into depression...
Bath time... Anderson love to look in the mirror.

TJ made me take this picture. She was looking through TJ's NewsWeek while going potty.

Showing off her two cookies. She went #2 in the potty!!

Silly girl in Anderson's Bumbo...

Sick

Yeah, our family (minus TJ) are sick! I ask that you pray for me, Karoline, and Anderson. Karoline and Anderson have had fevers and are VERY stuffed up. It is 9:45AM and Anderson is still sleeping! Poor little man. Please pray that my babies don't suffer....

Happy Birthday GiGi and New Look!

The blog has a new look thanks to TJ. He whipped this up last night for me. On a side note I was getting Karoline out of bed this morning and my sweet little girl said with quite the stuffed up nose "Im sick". Yes, she is sick and so am I! Anderson is a little sick too but thanks to the all wonderful breastmilk he is doing much better than the two of us. Please pray for us and that TJ won't get sick.

Happy Birthday GiGi! We LOVE YOU!!!

Three Month, Prayer, & Potty

I can't believe my Anderson is three months old! He is such a sweet boy and we love him SO MUCH! Here are some pictures to show how much he has grown. I am guessing he is about 12 lbs. 12 or 14 oz. but I don't know for sure. He is much smaller than Karoline was.
Here is Anderson the day we left the hospital...

Here is Anderson this past weekend...

Anderson at about 10 days old...

Anderson today at three months old...

Karoline at three months...

Prayer Converstaion...
Okay, I have to post this story. Tonight Karoline was playing with Anderson while TJ and I were finishing dinner. TJ and I were talking when I over heard Karoline say "Pray". I looked over and she was holding Anderson's hand. We stopped talking so we could hear her and here is how it went....
"Pray" (grabbing his hand)... mumbling... "apple sauce"... mumbling... "Amen"
It was so cute so I started laughing. Karoline came up to me and said "What's wrong mommy?" and I laughed some more. She was so concerned and said "Im sorry"! She thought she did something wrong and I picked her up and kissed her and told her she made mommy laugh not cry.
Karoline loves to pray and read her Bible. We pray about things all day long and specifically pray for every part of her meals usually so that is probably why she prayed for her apple sauce.

Potty Training Update
Karoline has been doing really well with potty training. Up until the last two days I was wondering if running her to the potty ever 30 minutes was doing any good. Well, yesterday she only went in her pull up one time before lunch. We even went to the grocery store and she used the potty there, got home and she was still dry. Then I was making lunch and she came up to me and said "poopy potty" and I took her and she went poopy in the potty!!! I was so proud of her. And then today she only went one time in her pull up all day long (not including her nap time)! She really is understanding that she can control it! I hope it continues to go so well. If she has a few more days like today we will just move to big girl undies! Dora undies of course!

Pictures and Video

Anderson fell asleep while waiting waiting for me to get his bath ready...

I ate ice cream out of this hat a few years ago at a Rangers game...

I snuck this picture of Karoline and TJ while they were spending quality time together outside Saturday morning...

I feel like I never have pictures of my children in real clothes (usually PJ's) so I took a picture before we went to a birthday party this weekend.

Little Miss Priss is ready for church.

Unless you are Gammy, Gandaddy, GiGi, or PopPop, you might not be very interested in this video! The grandparents will love it though. It is of Karoline counting and trying to say the alphabet.

Bad Mommy!

If you read the post below from last night then you know that now Karoline will say "I said no m'am" when she gets in trouble because that is what I say to her (see video on last post if you have not already). Well, we just had lunch and here is what happend...

Karoline can drink out of a cup now but I have to remind her to use both hands and becareful because she can be careless. Well, she was being careless and spilled her water. I got on to her about it and told her "use both hands!". Fastforward a few minutes. I am cutting her a banana and I SPILT THE WATER!!! All over the floor. Karoline says to ME..."Uh Oh Mommy! I said no ma'am!" I clean up the mess and then she says to ME "Both hands. Be careful".

Now I feel bad for getting on to her when I cannot even keep her water in her cup!!!

"I Said No Ma'am"

If you know my daughter you know that she is a talker. I wanted to do a scrapbook page of some of the cute things she says these days but I am so behind. So I'll blog about it and go back later to do the scrapbook page. Enjoy the video because you can actually hear some of the fun stuff she is saying. My new favorite is "I said no ma'am". I always say this to her if she does not obey me the first time I get on to her. Now I don't have to say it... I just give her the look and she says it for me. Anyway... here is the video and some pictures that go along with some of her sayings...

"Phone, ring ring, Hello Mimi (Gammy)" - Karoline loves to talk on the phone with my mom. She will walk around the house holding the phone for forever. We call it long distance babysitting!
She goes around the house telling us what things are and what they are not...
"Not a fork, it's a spoon."
"Not a bowl. It's a plate."
"Not cereal. It's oatmeal."

"Not Apple Sauce. It's yogurt."
"Not blue. It's red"
(changing the colors)
"Not a bath. Take a shower."
"Not a duck. It's a pengin (penguin)."

"Watch it, Watch it"- Meaning her blogger friends video's (especially Ella,Claire and Ava!)

"Rock a baby. Hold him."- She says this when she wants to hold Anderson and rock him in the nursery.
"Hear, burp cloth".- She is so good at helping out and bring us burp cloths!

Some pictures of Anderson...
Watching us eat breakfast.

Well, G night (goodnight) as Karoline would say...

The Picture People Portraits!

Anderson cried almost the whole time...

This was was pretty good but he was about to burst into tears.

The one we bought of Anderson... his only smile.

A good family picture but not the winner...

Family picture winner... Isn't it precious how Karoline is holding his hand!?

I just LOVE The Picture People. They always do an amazing job and I would recommend them to all my friends!

Funny Video of Karoline and Our Trip To The Picture People

Video
This is a funny of Karoline laughing at her daddy entertaining her while she finishes her dinner. TJ is such a fun daddy!

Picture People Story
Okay, so today we FINALLY got our family portrait made. We had an appt. a few weeks ago after Anderson's 2 month check up but I forgot that he had to get shots and we ended up running late so it didn't happen. So we tried again today. Our appt. was at 4:30PM. Well while the kids were napping and I got the WORST headache. I felt horrible. I thought we were going to have to cancel again. I felt like I could not even get ready and I had to lay down. I even cried and it takes a lot to make me cry most of the time. Then my body rejected my lunch (sorry) and it was like my headache was almost gone. I felt so much better... I finished getting ready while TJ got the kids ready and we made it!! I don't have the pictures to post because their website is down, but our family picture is SO CUTE! I'll try to describe... I am holding Anderson against my check and I am facing to the left. Karoline is behind me hugging my back practically and TJ is behind her. Well, Karoline did the sweetest thing. She reached over my arm in the front and grabbed Anderson's little hand. Yall, it is PRECIOUS!!!!!! And all four of us are actually looking at the camera. Karoline wanted to run around the whole place so we were bribing her with Cheerios. Anderson was so tired so he did not do well with Karoline holding him so we didn't get a picture of the two of them but we did manage to get him to smile one more time and the photographer got a great one of him. We are going to try again when we get Karoline's 2 yr. pics to get a picture of the two of them. Anyway, thanks for reading my story. I feel like such a simple thing should not be so complicated but with a family of 4 it is hard for an outing to go perfectly.

Anderson chilin out while I get Karoline's lunch ready after church.

Karoline loves playing with our shoes. She got TJ's (ugly) shoes and walked around in them.

Anderson Baby Talk And More...

Karoline HAS to have a napkin now when she eats and she hates having a mess so she works so hard to keep her space clean. It is pretty funny. She will say "Uh-Oh, Oatmeal mess" or "yogurt mess".

Sometimes Karoline loves to play with the camera and she thinks it is so fun to set the 10 second timer and have to run and get in place for a picture... so that is what we did while waiting on TJ to get home from church setup.

Anderson loves to stand up and I think he is so cute when he does because he is so little.

Playing with Avery
Ryan, Emily, and Avery came over for dinner tonight and the girls had a good time. They always love playing together although they are learning to share... it is quite cute. They really enjoyed the chocolate chip cupcakes I made that had squash and pumpkin in them... They actually are good. I ate one last night after I made them.

Video
I made this video especially for my dad who is missing Anderson like CRAZY! Gandaddy misses his little man. Sorry about the surprise in the middle of the video!

Potty Training Update
- It is going okay. We were out and about today and she kept saying that she was wet and when we got home she wanted to be changed right away. She has no problem going to the potty but has not figured out when exactly she needs to go. I know it will take time especially since she is so young, but she is getting used to using the potty regularly and that is a great thing. I got her new Dora pull-ups and she was SO excited!

Potty Training A Toddler With a 11 Week Old Baby...

So today went pretty well. Karoline went potty 4 times before her afternoon nap at 1PM and only went once in her diaper. Then after her nap she did great again until about 5:30PM when daddy got home and I had to cook, we all ate, had bath time and then get Anderson ready for bed. It was just harder to put her on the potty every 30 min. or so. I was very proud of her for her first day but I am here to tell you it is HARD on ME to do this potty training thing. I can't get anything done practically and if Anderson is awake... well, see the above picture. Tomorrow is another day and I hope it goes well.

ANDERSON...
