We Interrupt Summer Blog Posts to Bring You...

Karoline's Baptism!

We thought after Karoline made the big decision to ask Jesus into her heart that we would wait for her to be baptized when we really understood the meaning behind it, but she was ready. We talked a lot about it and she understood everything and really wanted to get baptized so she did last Sunday! TJ baptized her and it was BEAUTIFUL!

To see and listen to her heart for God is amazing. The girl wants to stop and pray all the time. I love it. She loves to learn about Him and pray for others and especially Jenifer in Peru who we sponsored through Compassion International a year and a half ago. She loves writing to her and getting letters and pictures from her. I cannot believe I get to be her mother! It's amazing to me.

Here is a video TJ put together...

2 for 1

Last week we got a 2 for 1 special... PopPop came into town AND Jackson and Pressley. It was a fun, BUSY week. Jackson stayed busy with golf lessons every day so Pressley hung out with me and Karoline most of the time. We had lots of good quality time with PopPop and it was a wild week... Here are a few pictures.

Pool Time...

Impromptu golf outing after swimming... girls wanted to ride in the cart...

Lots of pack yard play time with Jackson...
We opened father's day gifts a little early since all the dads where together...
this is my favorite thing I picked out for TJ...

1, 2, 3 ,4, 5...

Yes, that is the age of our kids... Kind of fun!

Beach again... it was VERY VERY WINDY but we managed to stay for a few hours. The kids had fun playing and Anderson and Tucker were so cute playing baseball. Judy and my parents joined us and my dad was quite the character. Because of some medications he takes he really cannot get a lot of sun so he looked quite scary :) ...

After the flag flew away we decided that between my dad and the wind we would leave...

Mom & Judy
We all ate dinner at my house then headed over to Broadway At The Beach to let the kids enjoy the rides ... a must do at night. Too hot during the day :) Tucker and Emma Raines had a blast... lots of fun smile!

The cars are always a big hit... we had to do it again...

I love this! Tucker having so much fun screaming on the Tea Cups... Anderson holding his ears :)

I was very thankful for the time we had together and I know the kids had a blast! We cannot wait to go to Birmingham and see their new home! Time with best friends is always treasured!

Natalie's Visit

This week I plan on getting caught up on this blog before the summer gets away from me :) Our plans this week only include home, the gym, and the pool.... until Friday!

It's safe to say that Natalie and I have not seen much of each other the past 6 or so years. They lived in Vermont for 5 years and we lived in San Francisco 3 of those years. I visited her when I was 6 months prego with Karoline, and they came to San Fran when Karoline turned 2. Since there return to the south we have seen each other twice in Birmingham... It was beach time this go around! And after this exhausting trip I'm not sure when she'll come back :) Glad I took a lot of pictures! Haha...

Natalie braved the drive with her mom and her precious three children. Karoline and Anderson had so much fun with Emma Raines, Tucker, and baby Finley! They arrived late Tuesday night so when the woke up Wednesday they were all ready for some fun...

Anderson wasted no time trying to teach Tucker how to play the drums and the girls were in dress up clothes before we knew it (and stayed in them pretty much except for their bathing suits!)...

Sweet Finley's morning bottle...

We got to the beach around 11am and the kids had a blast playing. ER was so brave in the water playing and it helped Karoline and Anderson be a little brave too... surprisingly my kids are very timid near the ocean. Tucker was quite content building/ constructing things in the sand.

Guitar time...
The reality of trying to get a cute group shot... Oh well...
and yes, everyone on the beach was laughing at us :)

Anderson would fall back and yell "I be baptized!"....

After the beach we headed to Pine Lakes for lunch and swimming. Mom and Judy brought Finley who had been napping at home with them... she loved the water.

After dinner the kids went to bed without a problem.... It was a very fun day... ready for day 2?
