Christmas Event at Air Force Base

Here we are out with the Larson family at the Air Force base for their annual Christmas event where they get to do all kinds of crafts and see Santa.

Here is Drew's first time sitting with Santa and what a champ he was, he never flinched or shed a tear. I know he is going to be one of those fearless kids and it scares the crap our of me.

That's One Talented Kid!

Drew can do some amazing things with his pacifier! He can pretty much get the entire thing in his mouth at once. He flips it around like a cirus act. So funny!

Thanksgiving Dinner

We hosted another Thanksgiving dinner at our house. Al and Jim's nephew were here visiting and we had wonderful friends over too.

Here are the kids doing a craft that Juli was so kind to bring for the kids to give them something to do other than tear up the house.

Morgan's School Thanksgiving Program

All of the kindergarten classes hosted a cute Thanksgiving program. Didn't Morgan make a cute indian girl? She sang the songs in the program to me for weeks. I didn't think they would ever end. She was so proud of herself.

~ Halloween 2009 ~

Another fun year out Trick or Treating with the kids and all the grown-ups pulling the wagon's with our coolers full of beer and wine. Our little group gets bigger and bigger each year. This year there were about 18 kids and 12 adults. The weather was beautiful as usual. We couldn't ask for a better night.

Hannah was a "Harry Potter" style charmed witch, Morgan was a patriotic cheerleader and Drew was a little yellow ducky. They all looked so adorable. Drew was awake for most of our walk but fell asleep at the end.

I LOVE THAT SPAGHETTI!

Is there anything more adorable than a baby with pasta sauce all over his face.
I can't get enough of these pictures.

Drew Pulling Up

Our little guy is already pulling himself up. He gets himself up and can almost lift his knee to get on the first stair. He will be climbing them before we know it. Now I'm scared.

Drew Eating Pasta!

Drew sure can shovel his food in. I gave him some curly pasta with sauce and he couldn't get enough of it. You have got to love the classic pasta pictures. I know I sure do.

I finally finished Hannah and Drew's room. I also added some pictures of Morgan's room so she was not left out.....

My Handsome Boy!

Morgan Turn's Five

How the years are flying by. I can't believe how fast the kids are growing up. Morgan had a very nice pool party with her friends and I had some adult conversation with the friends. Below are a few pictures from her party.

First Day of School

The first day of school for the girls was a success. Hannah is an old pro but Morgan I was a little nervous about. She talked the talk for quite awhile about how excited she was to start school but on the first day of school when it came time for Jim and I to leave she started to cling and tear up. This of course brought tears to my eyes too. Morgan always tries to be so brave.

Needless to say we left and she did just fine. We peeked back in her class window about a 1/2 hour later after the Kindergarten "Boo Hoo Breakfast" the PTA held and she was being shown her cubby where she was to keep her backpack and she looked happy.

The next day we had no issues at all and she wnet back to school willingly. The house is soooo quiet now that the girls are back in school. There had been so much contact fighting that it seems so weird to have a quiet house again. Ahhhh...

Here are some pictures of the girls on their first day.

Our Visit to Massachusetts

What a visit we had. We got to see all our family and friends. I thought a month was more than enough time to visit with everyone more than once but it was still crazy trying to plan visits with everyone but in the end we managed it.

Upon arriving we hung out with my mom and dad then the next day we were off to visit Chris, Larry and the kids. Taylor and Ethan were so excited to see their cousins again. They all fought over who would get to hold or feed Drew. He was so spoiled.

I met up with Melissa and Mary and all their girls and we went strawberry picking at Tougas Farm. The girls ate more than they put in their basket. We made homemade strawberry margaritas with our fresh berries. YUM!

We went camping in Wells Beach, ME with my parents for the 4th of July. The kids got to roast marshmallow's and light sparklers. The 1st two of the four days it rained but the last two were beautiful and we actually made it to the beach. The water was 56 degree's but the kids were in it all day. I stuck my feet in for a second and they went numb so how the kids did it is crazy! Jessica, Val, Chris, Larry and the kids all made it in for a night to we had a really nice dinner at Lord's Seafood. I definitely go my seafood fix while away.

Christine and her family drove in from Canada to visit with me. I was so excited to see her since it had been two years since we had seen each other. Her girls have gotten so big and are the cutest little things.

Me and a group of friends did make it out for dinner and a fun night out. We went to Roma's Bar and Grill which is a BYOB so we all brought a bottle of wine then headed to the Banner Bar to hang out. What a great night out. I miss those good times but I was exhausted from the late night out and then getting up early with Drew. I'm too old for those late nights.

We got to celebrate Taylor's 10th birthday with her. It was at the old Skylite Roller Skating rink. Wow, so many old memories there. I actually got up on skates again and after awhile it all came back to me. What fun. The girls were getting the knack of it too.

Our little boy Drew was Christened while we were in MA. Jessica and my dad are his godparents. He was so good and loved when the holy water was poured over his head. We had a big cookout at my parents house afterwards and many friends were able to make it.

Another fun thing I did while visiting was go horse back riding with Sandy. Wow, we have not done that in years and I forgot how sore I would be for days afterwards. Sandy, remember horseback riding on the beach in Brooklyn? That was the best yet.

So aside from the two weeks of rain Massachusetts got while we were there visiting the trip was so much fun and I am glad we were able to stay for as long as we did. I miss everyone already and can't wait to see them again.
