Alyvia is 2 months old today! The time really has gone fast, she is getting so fun. She is such a happy baby and loves to talk to us. She really has started to gab lately. Also, she has rolled over 3 times from back to front, I think she would do it more if she would tolerate floor time. She loves her changing table and is so happy on it. She has become interested in her toys and has started grabbing at things. I weighed her today and she came in at 11.6 pounds according to our scale, which was right on last time. She really is packing it on!! She is still a very good baby. She sleeps anywhere between 6 1/2 to 8 1/2 hours every night. She has recently started to love sitting up. She can hold her head up very well and just loves to look around. Kami is so cute with her, if she doesn't see her she will say "where's Alyvia". This happens about a dozen times a day. Kaite is my baby whisperer and can calm Lyvi down by talking to her and holding her hand, Lyvi gets upset if Kaite lets go. She loves to fall asleep on Ash. Lyvi is not a good teether, definitely the worst by far. I am waiting for those bottom teeth to finally pop through. Ash still holds the record at 6 weeks. Lyvi has 2 days to beat Kaite (9 weeks) and 3 weeks to beat Kami (12 weeks).

We had our family photos taken a couple of weeks ago. I would NOT suggest doing this 4 weeks post baby unless your SIL who is taking the photos is moving to Indiana. I think we picked a super hot day too, also not advised. We got some good ones. I have such a hard time picking my favorites. We went to the rose garden at the school, I have always wanted to do pics there and this may have been our last chance.

Here is Ash. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. I really like this first one, except for the shadow across her face.

Kaite is always such a character to get pics of. Some of these are so Kaite. Ky wanted to put one of the goofy face ones up because it is so her.

Kami is my doll. I think we are going to go with one of these first two.....maybe I still can't decide.

Lyvi did very well. We will be using this first one I love it. Her birth marks are really lightening up with all the fat she has been putting on! I wish we could have gotten one of her on her tummy (she didn't cooperate for that) so you could see her cute ruffles on the butt of her jean skirt.

Oh and she is weighing in at 9.13 now.

Our 4th was low key this year, Ky had to spend most of it studying. We went to the small local parade this year, it still makes me laugh because they go down main street turn around and come back. Plus the whole thing only lasts 45 minutes, too funny! The girls got tons of candy though, and we got out of there before it got too hot.

Then the girls ran through the sprinkler since the pool has a big hole in it, guess we need a new pool!

Ky filled in the dirt around the window well holes. The window wells are attached and in!! He also started spreading the dirt for the landscaping.

Then we went to the local fireworks. I do love that we can leave the house 15 minutes before they start and still sit right under them.
Mar and Trandyn joined us. Lyvi slept through them!!

We had a small show at the house.

It was a nice slow 4th. The girls enjoyed it and Lyvi did great, but maybe next year we can be on the boat!

Okay so here is what we have been up to so far this summer.

We have been playing outside a ton. We taught the girls how to play baseball and they love it. Kaite is excited for soccer to start next week.

Ash and Kaite just finished up with swim lessons. Ash passed off level 6 and Kaite will be doing level 4 again next year. Kami is so excited to start next year.

I just love the swim program the college has, it really is the best. They learn so much so quickly and they really emphasize technique. The girls' kindergarten teacher was even there with her daughter, it was her first year taking lessons there and she raved about it too. I felt bad because both of the girls were in more advanced levels than her daughter just because all of her lessons in town kept getting canceled, one advantage of the indoor pool. I think next year we will do earlier sessions because it gets so warm, the disadvantage of the indoor pool!

He is very proud of the stairs he designed.The city had their party at the pool last week. Kami was so excited but very disappointed she couldn't go down the slides.
Mar was a good sport and floated the lazy river with her.
I should have got them on the blue slide they go so much faster.

Lyvi had her first Sunday at church last weekend. She did so well and slept most of the time. I thought she looked so cute, but Ky kept taking her bow off, boys!

That wraps things up for the most part. Ky only has 3 weeks of school left, I can't wait. We (us girls) have been catching up on some house work and rest. We have some busy weeks coming up real soon with lots of fun stuff planned!
