Let's just say Jolie had another one of her "best days ever!" She is such a hard working, exuberant kid! Her enthusiasm is such a blessing to our family! She did an amazing job on all of her events. First was 50 breaststroke which is her best! Then her goggles fell off on the 50 backstroke so she did get disqualified but she had a great attitude and even laughed at herself. Its really common for them to get disqualified. The last event was the 100 freestyle and she did awesome on that one as well! So proud of my girl!!

Summer ended way too soon for us this year. We were simply not ready to end all the fun!

Jolie is in her final year (5th grade!) of elementary school this year. She was probably the only one of us excited to start school. This social child could hardly wait to spend her days with her friends!

 Reese is doing one more year of preschool. We decided he needed one last year to get ready for kinder and this mom is glad to have him be my baby just a little longer!

 Lucy got the sweetest 3rd grade teacher ever!! She is thrilled and has come home every day saying she is her favorite teach EVER! I'm so happy she is happy!

Bring on the 2013-2014 school year!

I opted not to have an official party for Reese this year. He didn't care and I was pretty burnt out from all of the entertaining I had done the previous weeks.

I surprised him by a trip to an indoor play place with his best buddy Brock on his birthday.

 Next he wanted some balloons so we stopped off at the party store on the way home.

 We had chocolate cake and sang to him that night as well but he wasn't that into it.

Then Grandma and Grandpa spoiled him with this sweet car! He is basically obsessed with it.

We had Mike and Brooke, Dillon and Angella and the kids here for Lucy's baptism!

We started off with a fun family beach day and boy did these kids have a ball!!

 Then on Saturday, August 17 Lucy was baptized!

 It was such a blast to see our Cowan cousins twice in one summer!

 And a trip with Nana wouldn't be the same without a trip to Ruby's!
