Nursery

Redd went to Nursery for the first time today!

It was a little bitter-sweet...

I never thought I would look forward

to the day he went to nursery,

but ever since we moved into our new ward

he has been a little terror at church.

The nursery leader said he did a good

job in the beginning and then

got sad and cried for a little while, but

as soon as they broke out the snacks he was fine again.

It was nice to actually nice to enjoy

Relief Society without having

to try to keep him quiet.

I asked Redd to show me the picture he

colored and he laid down on the floor with the picture in front of him.

As far as we know his artwork

was confined to the paper and

not the furniture!

Wicked

Judd went on a couple weekend

vacations with his brother this

summer and to make it up

to me, he surprised me with

tickets to

WICKED!

We flew to Denver and stayed

in a fun hotel right by the theater.

Judd tried a crazy dish

at dinner.. called

Southern Style Chicken and Waffles

It was 4 small pieces of fried chicken on top of a waffle,

covered with powdered sugar

and served with syrup.

It made me sick just to

look at it!

Boating and Bull Riding

For the past 5 years we have been

going to Vegas for the

Professional Bull Riding Finals.

We spend the day out on Lake Mead and then

at night we go to the Rodeo.

It is such a fun trip and we

have a blast every year!

All the "adults" on the trip. For some reason when we get to Vegas, these guys think they are back in high school!

Notice how we are all bundled up in the pictures.. every year it seems that the first big cold front rolls in on the weekend we are in Vegas. Only the brave ones dare get into the water!

Grandma gave Redd a lemon at dinner!

Every morning we meet out at the boat

and have breakfast in the parking lot.

Ren and Michael were playing catch

with a football & Redd wanted to play too.

He was so funny to watch run around

after the ball. He even got a little

ticked when Ren didn't throw it to him!

Since we were at the Rodeo on Halloween,

these three boys dressed up as the 3 Amigos.

Every year they wear matching outfits

to one night of the Rodeo.

Halloween Fun

This year we were out of town for Halloween, so we did our celebrating the week before. We got together with all the Costley Kids and had a fun Halloween dinner.

Redd didn't want his picture taken,

so we had to settle for an action shot.
