Non-Traditional Christmas Cards...
So each day we are getting closer to Christmas and I am nowhere near ready, in fact I have so much shopping still to do I'm not sure I have enough time to do it!!
This second card is again made using an image from The Stamping Shack. I have added a snow effect to the grass using White Glitter. The flowers I made using the Tonic punches which are so fantastic when trying to get a flower to match your project.
Today I wanted to share 2 cards that I have made for Christmas, although they are far from the traditional Christmas card! One had to follow the theme for a girl who loves ponies and one was for a skateboarding, guitar playing teenage lad!
Here is the result:
For this one I have used the Home For Christmas Range from Do Crafts. The images are from The Stamping Shack. I have coloured the image using promarkers . I tried to keep some traditional colour within the image, although it is very subtle as the Greens and Blues are often used for images of boys anyway.
This second card is again made using an image from The Stamping Shack. I have added a snow effect to the grass using White Glitter. The flowers I made using the Tonic punches which are so fantastic when trying to get a flower to match your project.
Both cards have been made as 8" x 8" easel cards.
Thats all for today, I had probably best get off to do some Christmas shopping!
Have a great day whatever your doing!

Christmas Wreath
Good Morning on this very wintery day!
Today I would like to share a Christmas Wreath I have made to feature on the Do Crafts Blog. Each year I love to add to my decorations and always try to have a few home made items that match the decor. This year I chose to use the Do Crafts Home For Christmas range papers as I adore them, it must be the only paper pack that I have used up completely!

Back To The 80's
Being part of the Do Crafts Creativity Club has so many advantages but one of the biggest must be the amount of downloadable papers you can chose from. Not only that but each week the fabulous people at Do Crafts add more to it!
This week they added the 80's Retro papers and I knew I would have to use them to scrapbook pictures of my eldest daughter Annabelle. I made this page to feature on the Do Crafts Blog.
She loves to pose as you can see!
Annabelle is at her happiest when looking in the mirror and spends most of her time doing so!!
All of the papers here are downloaded and they are so bright and vibrant they only need small amount of embellishments added. I have simply added a large flower inked at the edges and a couple of black bows.

Creativity Club goes Black & White
Last week Do Crafts creativity Club released their new download and it was all Black and White. Gorgeous patterns and very on trend. First of all I was going to create a male card with these papers but somehow I ended up adding colour to the cards and giving the majority of them a feminine touch!
All the cards are made using 4" x 4" white card blanks, X cut dies and embellishments from Do Crafts. These would be great for Thank You cards to use after Christmas or as a set to give as a gift for Christmas.
There are so many downloads to choose from over at the Do Crafts Creativity Club and all this for only £24 a year. To find out how you can join simply visit here.

Simply Love ...
Good Morning,
The card I am sharing with you today is a fairly simple but effective card that I have made using the free downloadable papers from Do Crafts Creativity Club. The papers are called Patterns To Love and I showed you a peek of them a couple of days ago in my Daily Sketch post. The blue, Grey and White in these papers make fantastic winter projects and although they are fantastic for Christmas projects they can be used for so many occasions.

These papers go so well with Kraft card and the Brown string gives the card a really rustic feel to it. The design on the paper is simply too pretty to cover up.
The nesting dies I have used are from Do Crafts as is the Kraft Card, Brown string and adhesive stones.

The card I am going to share with you today is a daily sketch that I recently download combined with the fantastic new downloadable papers - Patters To Love.
I am constantly amazed at how using a sketch can make you think in a way you would never normally think!
This card is an 8" x 8" size and I have used the Do Crafts Nesting Dies to cut the scalloped circle and circles. The pattern papers you see are the downloadable papers and if ever there was a reason to join the Creativity Club this is it! These papers are just amazing!
To find out more about Do Crafts Creativity Club visit The Website.
I will be sharing more projects made using these papers later on in the week, so keep checking back to see what else can be made using these papers.
