The Beginning of a New Season

Greetings to you all! I send much love and encouragement to you and pray for wisdom for the choices you make for your everyday life!

I have been hearing the Lord say… “Eventful - this new season will be eventful. This season will be a time of transitions and changes.  Do not have fear; trust Me for I will walk you through your next season just as I have walked with you up till now. The choice is always up to you, for I never leave you. Change and transition with Me will be good and fruitful!”
Then the Lord showed me a huge lion walking boldly through a field and the scripture came to my mind… “be bold, be brave for the Lord your God is with you.”

I encourage you to meditate on this word for the days ahead. Spend quality time with your Father and be eager & open to hear what the He has for you. Hear the changes He wants you to make in your life so that transition comes!
Why do you think He said not to fear?  Because He knows that most of us don’t like the thought of change, we just want to be comfortable! But God’s ways are not our ways!  And, if we choose to move with Him and make the changes and transitions ~ think of the opportunities waiting for us.  He said changes with Him would be good and fruitful!

So expect boldness to come as you move out, without fear, to minister as He gives you direction and wisdom!  It is so exciting what the Lord is doing in these days!  I look forward to hearing your testimonies of His goodness and what changes you will make.
You may want to pray with me ~ “Yes Lord, I receive the changes and transitions you have for me and will not fear.  Thank you for your presence and I eagerly look for the initiatives you have for me.  I am expecting much goodness and fruitfulness for the Kingdom of God!!

God’s Everlasting Love

As God’s golden words began to flow
His everlasting love He wanted to show
The Glory of the Lord shown all around
as the heavenly hosts were earthly bound.

Christ our Savior, Lord of all,
was birthed of Mary in a tiny stall.
And the message is now as it was then
“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, good will
toward men!”

His Love so abounding to all who receive
His gift flows freely to all who believe.
Good tidings and great joy to you all
As His love, peace and joy on you fall!

Challenges can be turned into great testimonies!

This season of life seems to be one of many challenges!  When my days are full of changes and decisions, my thoughts tend to turn to how am I reacting or acting to each. I take a look at what I am thinking, of what I am saying and how I am reacting. I have learned to trust God for everything in my life.

However, to be totally trusting I must not entertain thoughts that don’t line up with what the Word of God says. Or I must not react negatively to the circumstances going on around me and allow fear or anxiety to take over.  So each time, each circumstance is decision time for me to cast my cares on the Lord or I can try to figure it out in my own strength.

Sometimes I do find myself leaning into these areas but as soon as I realize that I am drifting, I quickly draw myself back into the presence of God. Because when I am leaning and depending on Him to help me through every step of my life then I have a peace for each challenging circumstance of each day. But when I depend on my own intellect and my own thoughts then that is when God’s presence lifts and I find myself feeling fearful and anxious.

It took a decision to believe that God loves me so much that He would always be with me and always direct my footsteps. He would always take care of me and protect me through each storm of life. But think about it, I am so much better off having the Great I AM for my protector, for my provider, for my healer, for guidance, for my comforter and teacher. You can have His peace also, the peace that passes all understanding! Trust Him for all areas of your life and in all areas of your life!

Oh yes, and when I come through the storms of life to the other side and see the sun shining on me, oh what testimonies I have to share with all who will listen.  My God is so great and He is so big!

I Peter 5:6-7 “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”

How can we build up and strengthen our spirits?

One of my favorite scriptures is: “the strong spirit of a man will sustain him in time of bodily pain or trouble.”  Proverbs 18:14 Amp.

Well, how do we build up our spirits and be able to stand strong when trouble comes against us or when sickness attacks? God is so good to always give us direction and plans for us to live in victory!

The Bible also says in Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth; but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

God wants us to be prosperous and have success and He has given us the plan for a victorious life.

Here are four steps to build up and strengthen your spirit:

Meditating in the Word ~   “O how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day.”  Psalm 119:97

Practicing the Word ~ “Be doers of the Word and not hearers only deceiving yourselves. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work this one will be blessed in what he does.”  James 1:22, 25

Giving the Word first place ~ “Your testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.” Psalm 119:24

Obeying your spirit ~ “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”  2 Timothy 3:16, 17

The will of God will be known to you, even in the smallest details of your life if you follow these steps.  For this to happen, God’s Word, not your human reasoning, must dominate your thinking. Holy Spirit has given us the Word so if the Word dominates us then Holy Spirit dominates our thinking!

Now you know how to strengthen your spirit and keep it strong!  Pop Hagin taught on this subject many years ago and it is always good to recall and reflect!!  Amen.

Take those thoughts captive and meditate on the Words of God ~

I believe that we all experience fear at times in our lives. However, know that we don't have to accept the fear thoughts that come. Think or mediate about things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, think about good reports. Remember God's blessings on your life and what He has already done for you!  Remember His faithfulness and that He is the same yesterday, today and forever!!

“The Lord God has not given us a spirit of fear but has given us love, power and a sound mind!”
He has given you HIS Love ~
He has given you HIS Power ~
He has given you a sound mind ~ the mind of Christ!!

Oh how I love to decree this scripture for if the Lord has said it then it is most certainly true!  Think and meditate on this thought this week!

Blessings and Miracles on you this day!

the priestly blessing

“And the Lord said to Moses Say to Aaron and his sons, this is the way you shall bless the Israelites.
Say to them…
The Lord bless you, and watch, guard and keep you;
The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you.
The Lord lift up His (approving) peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
And they shall put My name upon the Israelites and I will bless them.”
Numbers 6:22-27 Amplified

I was reminded of this scripture while watching Bill Winston teach at the Southwest Believers Convention in Fort Worth.  While many churches use this scripture as an end to their service; it is actually a blessing and a beginning.  God shows us how to bless by “saying”.  We are to agree with God’s Words of blessing and provision and receive them as our truth!

Again we see, that we are to speak the Word of God,  we are to agree with God.  We are to speak blessings and not curses, speak life and not death into the atmosphere!

Read this scripture again and see the depth of the meaning of God’s blessing.  The scriptures also tell us that “Holy Spirit leads and guides us into all truth.”  So, when we obey the Word of God, it becomes our pathway for life!  Speaking God’s truths brings His blessings and fullness into our lives.

Choose life, the life of the Word and let it become your life and truth!!

Blessings & Miracles on your day!

Grace, grace God’s grace…

“For out of His fullness, (His abundance) we all received, all had a share and we were all supplied with one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift heaped upon gift. For while the Law was given through Moses, grace (unearned, undeserved favor and spiritual blessing) and truth came through Jesus Christ.”  John 1:16 Amp

Think on this scripture… grace upon grace, spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing, favor upon favor and gift heaped upon gift.  What a bountiful, abundant God we serve. He gives us grace through Jesus Christ just because He loves us so unconditionally.

We must receive it, believe it, and begin declaring it out of our own mouths. Whatever it is you may be dealing with, just say, “I can overcome this situation because of God’s grace, His divine power in me!”

You are empowered to be victorious in life. For isn’t it written that “greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.”

Grace is available for love; grace is available for the wisdom to receive whatever we need, including finances. There is grace for overcoming anger, grace for overcoming lust, and every other evil emotion that leads to sin. There is grace to fulfill our purpose and to do what God has called us to do in life.  Yes, we can do all things through Christ Jesus, who gives us the strength.  God’s divine power ~ God’s grace.

May you live in victory because you are in Christ and He is in you. His divine power, His glory is in you providing you with all you need to move forward on the path He has ordained for you to travel!

May you walk in God's grace and peace this day!
