Sydney and me in Target? You know that's trouble. On Friday night, My mom and Nikki took us out on a GNO. It was realllllllllyyyy fun. We dressed up, sang opera, and partied. The video is of Sydney & me (mostly me) singing opera at Target. It was pretty funny. The employees and shoppers were pointing and laughing at us. We were sorta celebrities. ;D

Birthday Bash

My 13th birthday was GREAT. It was very fun. It was very simple. I had a family party, and of course Sydney came over. We ate, played games, and had fun! Above is the beautiful birthday table my mom did for me. I had a great birthday!
I got great presents this year! They included:
a Vera Bradley, clothes, a trip to 6 flags, a head light,
cool stuff to put in my Vera Bradley, and money!
Thanks everyone for all the great presents!

The best part of the night was my Dad doing the hula wearing my new head light!
This was a great birthday! I had a blast! Stay tuned for the 6 flags blog!!

Baking a Difference

On Saturday Sydney, Homaria, and I started our 10 hour Personal Progress project. We were so excited. We had two flavors of cookies: Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal butterscotch. Mom helped us bake the cookies. Well, maybe we helped her bake the cookies!
We wanted to make cute little thank you cards. We had white paper and had a purple background. We hole punched the top and tied a bow on it. They were so cute and lots of fun to make!
One of my favorite parts was delivering the cookies. We made $30. This was so much fun. I can't wait to make the blankets!
We have put in about 6 hours into our project so far.
The next phase will be buying the materials for the blankets. Then we will go to Sydney's house to make the blankets.
Thank you to Sisters Gourmet for donating the cookie dough!
love. love. love.

Would you like to buy some cookies?

I have been very busy with school and friends. The picture above is of Sydney and me. We decided to do a Personal Progress 10 hour project together. Our idea is to make homemade cookies, sell them, use our money earned to buy materials to make baby blankets for the homeless shelter.
Last Friday Sydney, Homaria (my friend down the street), and I took orders for the cookies. We earned $51.50 dollars. We actually met some really nice people in our neighborhood. We got 3 orders in our neighborhood. We have others orders too. We have to make 95 cookies this Saturday. I can't wait for Sydney and Homaria to come over on Saturday, so we can make our cookies. It will be an all day project.
We will go to Sydney's house to make the blankets.

My New Book Bag!

School is starting in 2 weeks. I have had so much fun shopping and preparing! (Even though I am not done!) Yesterday, we looked for book bags. First, we went to Target. There were some cute ones but not really what I was looking for. Then we went to Kohl's.
Hallelujah!
There was a pink and green book bag that had peace signs on it. BUT, that's not all! The Peace signs are made out of cutesy pink and lime green flowers!
I love it!
Thanks, Mom!
