Welcome to Winter In the Mountains!
Last week, I took this photo of the front entrance to our neighborhood. I wanted to start documenting the changing colors. 'Our first Autumn in our new house'.
Here's the shot I took last week::
The sun was starting to go down, and it is casting a golden glow on our mountain.
Isn't it pretty??
K. Here is our view today::
Now granted that this isn't the same view. I was not feeling adventurous enough to hike down the hill to get my shot ;) This is the view from our backyard, and it's so snowy you can't even see the mountains!!
I had to throw a tarp over my wicker bench in the front because I am not at all convinced of it's claims of being waterproofed ;)
Poor little Mums :) We had plans today of seeding the hill on the side of our house with wildflowers. But this storm kind of got in our way.. Hoping this white stuff does not decide to stick around, because I am TOTALLY not prepared for it!!
Anyone else have snow today??

Welcome Everyone!
So. . .how fun would it be if we could all stay in touch and see what everyone's up to? A few of us thought that we could start a Kayscreek Estates blog and have everyone give family updates to keep in touch.
Here's a page I did with some photos taken just before Jen and Catherine moved. I have a few other photos that I will post soon, just wanted to get this news out to all of you!
