My sister and her husband are moving to China! She's going over there to teach for a couple of years. We had a Going Away party for them today.  Here are some of the decorations I made.  It was hard finding China themed party decor ideas unless it was Chinese New Year, so I didn't do much... just made a few things.

I have started using my planner again... Although it's more of like a diary of what I have done bc I tend to use my cellphone calendar the most.  These printables are free over on Victoria Thatcher's website at https://www.victoriathatcher.com/

A few years ago, I started participating in pocket Letter swaps.  They are so fun to make.  Here is one of my latest pocket Letter creations.

I'm participating in a monthly card challenge.  This months theme... Christmas.  

I love making Christmas cards no matter what time of year it is.  Here is my card for this months card challenge.  The snowman stamped image is from Heartfelt Creations.
  

As I was cleaning my craftroom, I came across this small 8x8 pad of paper that I have had forever and a day.  So I decided it was time to create something with it.  I was able to make nine A2 sized cards.
    

Stamp & Scrapbook Expo Card Swap Day 2

I participated in both card swaps at the Stamp &  Scrapbook Expo in KC last weekend.  Here is the card I created for the Saturday Card Swap.

A funny waterfall card.  I saw this idea on a card making fb page and it looked easy enough, since I have made waterfall cards a few years back.  However, it took a village to complete this card.  I was having trouble with the mechanisms and over an hour trying to get it to work and about 9 people helping me, we finally figured it out.  

I had to make 21 of the exact same card for the swap.   I didn't realize what I was getting my self into when I decided to create this card for a swap.   I'm thinking next time I may go the easy route. 

Stamp & Scrapbook Expo Card Swap Day 1

I participated in both card swaps at the Stamp &  Scrapbook Expo in KC last weekend.  Here is the card I created for the Friday Card Swap.

A shaker card using Simple Stories Enchanted paper and teeny tiny stars that was donated by a very sweet lady (Jan Hankel) in our local KC Croppers group.

I had to make 21 of the exact same card for the swap each day.    It was a lot of work but fun! 

One of the classes I took last weekend at the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo was the Merry & Bright Card class.

We each made these three cards in class.  The instructor was great. I love the Heartfelt Creations classes.
