If there's one thing my girls use a lot of besides shampoo, it would definitely be bobby pins. I was excited to use my new Recollections My Favorite Things paper stack and Spellbinders Heart Circles Nestabilities. I thought it would be cute to create a Valentines altered tin using non traditional colors and loved how it turned out. Bev at The Piece by Piece always carry the most unique trims which went perfect with this project. Instead of just placing the bobby pins in the tin, I thought it would be fun to make heart shaped pouch to place the bobby pin in or just clip them on the design paper. My daughter loved it a lot and I really enjoyed making this for her. Hopefully I'll see less bobby pins everywhere. heehee

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Every Christmas year, its a tradition for my sister, brothers and I to give my mom an ornament for her tree. I thought it would be nice for me to create an ornament for her this year. I really loved the shape of these Studio 18 chipboard mini house album that I purchased from my local Michaels. This year we're celebrating Christmas at my mom's and thought it would be fun to create a Shabby Chic ornament with it. The design paper is from Prima's Botanical collection and the beautiful window is from Prima's Shabby Chic Treasures. I received the adorable Paper Trey Ink dress form die from Arlene and loved how it looked beside the window. I then added the gorgeous I Am Roses Pale Yellow mini Rose on the center of the bow. On the other side of the house are the beautiful Pink and Yellow Spray with the White Cherry Blossoms. For the design paper on the chimmney, I will add my mom's address using the Martha Stewart Numbers Punch. What's also great is that you can create many different projects with these house chipboards. These will also make adorable picture stands by just adding an chipboard easel die cut to the back.

Hi Everyone!
I'm so happy and excited to share with you my latest custom die with AccuCut Craft Custom Shape Pros. The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning, is have a cup of coffee. In the evening, I have my Mocha Frappe from my favorite coffee place...Starbucks. I also enjoy drinking hot cocoa in the evening, especially during the Christmas season and stir my candy cane while enjoying my hot cocoa. Throughout the year, I love to give Starbucks gift cards to my family and friends as a gift and thought how fun it would be to design a cup with three different lids and a sleeve to wrap around the cup for my gift card. I really enjoyed designing this die and LOVE how it turned out.

I love being able to create my own custom snow globe. I purchased these from my local Michaels. They only carry these during the Christmas season, so I make sure I stock up on these. Natalie loved to purchase snow globes from all the places we'd travel and display them all on her shelf. What's great about this snow globe, you can create these with any theme. How fun would it be to collect souvenirs from all the places you've been to and design your very own. I really liked that it was plastic and that I didn't have to worry about anyone dropping it and not being able to have the snow globe anymore. Especially, if were from somewhere far away. The snow flakes look so pretty inside and has a beautiful shimmer to it. As you know, I love birds and thought it would be fun to create a Shabby Chic themed snow globe with a bird and bird nest. I Am Roses flowers and leaves just looked so pretty on the nest and on top of the snow globe. I really enjoyed creating this and look forward to creating many more.

I had gone shopping at Hobby Lobby with my girls and found this adorable spinning organizer at the unfinished wood section. I thought how fun this would be to alter. Natalie asked if she could have it for her desk to place some of her makeup in. Natalie loves the combination of hot pink, black and white and Hobby Lobby had the Teresa Collins Posh paper pack and which had the exact colors she wanted. I first painted the organizer with white acrylic paint, then sprayed Lindy Stamp Gangs Glitz Spritz in Scintillating Silver. I just love all the shimmer. I then embellished the organizer with Karla's gorgeous trims and embellishments. Natalie loved how it turned out and I really enjoyed creating this or her. I had the best time altering the Studio18 Ultimate Organizer that I purchased from my local Michaels. I really loved the gate fold opening and all the notepads inside. Arlene had given me the gorgeous Uncommon paper stack by Authentique for my birthday. The colors coordinated so well with the color on the organizer and I just loved how it turned out. I incorporated a ton of KARLAS001 embellishments and trims. This was so fun to alter and look forward to altering another one.

Hi Everyone!
Here's my Fall tag I created using the Tim Holtz #8 tag. The paper collection I used is the Romantique Collection by Prima. The colors in this collection was perfect for the Fall theme. To create my Maple tree, I used Tan Brown Leaves and Brown Maple Leaves and added a dove on the tree using the Sizzix Bird #5 die. I also added y favorite Rock Candy Stickles on top of the tan brown leaves. On the trunk of the tree, I added the curled stem from the
White Short Paper Flowers Spray to secure the stems from the leaves and to make the trunk appear large. To create the fence, I used my Fence Sizzlit die and add stamped the word Fall on the SU! Modern Label punch die cut. I also added an extra eyelet and tied seam binding which I had stained with the Lindy Stamp Gang My Mojito Green. I really loved the vintage lady next to the tree.

Hi Everyone!

I had the best time ever at the Scrapbooker's Tale Mommy and Me Crop Ashley and I attended on August 20th from 10am to 2pm. Although we scrapbook together in my scrap room, being at the crop was so exciting. Ashley was so excited that she packed her bags weeks in advance and was literally counting down the days. Brandy had given all the kids an adorable mini album kit to create a really super cute mini. I couldn't believe how fast Ashley completed her album and how anxious she was to start a new project. It was so sweet of her to alter a Michaels Balsa box as a "Thank you" gift to Brandy for hosting the crop. Here I created a birdcage mini album of our fun day together using my new AccuCut Bird Cages(B1076SJ) die. I love the French Country paper collection by DCWV and been wanting to create a mini with this beautiful collection. I purchased a small and large bird nest several weeks ago at my local Michaels and was really excited to altered one of them. It was so much fun especially because I love birds. Karla's trims and embellishment were perfect for my bird nest and mini. The paper collection I used is the Christmas Emporium collection by Graphic 45 which I had purchased from Karla. To create my bird mini album, I used my new AccuCut Birds #1 die and loved that there were several birds on that die to choose from. I plan on using the larger bird for my big bird nest. I've been wanting to scrapbook my girls pictures at the beach from Hawaii. My sister and her family lived there for a few years and we were so happy to have had two vacations in Oahu. Ko'Olina in Kapolei was such a beautiful beach and the girls loved making sand castles and swimming. The girls were so amazed seeing the little fishes in the water. AccuCutCraft's Bare Elements Reyna Castle Book #2 was perfect for this project and loved how it turned out. I really love the new Nantucket paper collection by Pink Paislee. The colors are so beautiful and went perfect with the sand castle theme.

Here's a layout I created for AccuCutCraft of my niece Sofia. Natalie took this adorable of picture of her outside right before they went swimming. I loved how Natalie placed a flower right by her ear. In many of my projects, I always love to add a flower by my girls ear on their picture and this photo of Sofia was just too cute. I just love the Portrait-11 1/2" (P1022G) by AccuCutCraft. The shape has a very elegant style and you can great so many projects with just this one die. In my video, I share how I created my layout and all the embellishments I used on my layout.

I had so much fun creating this 3D Sleigh with my new AccuCut 3D Sleigh die. I thought it would so perfect to place one of Bev's Muslin bags to represent Santa's bag filled with crochet flowers. I loved that it looked like a mini version of his bag. To create the 3D sleigh, I used a 12x12 design paper from Fancy Pants Saint Nick collection. The mini diecut of St. Nicholas came from the 6x6 paper pad. All the wonderful flowers can be purchased at I Am Roses. I'm so super happy to share with you another custom die I designed with AccuCutCraft Custom Shape Pros. As many of you know how much I love dress forms, I just had to create an Eiffel Tower into a mini album. I've seen and purchased so many collections with the image of an Eiffel tower on it. I loved how it turned out and can't wait to make more. I love the new Be Mine collection by Echo Park Paper Co. and it just went perfect for this project. Arlene had given me a pack of beautiful pink, black and white trims that was just meant for this album. Thank you Ar! I'm waiting to receive the Teresa Collins World Traveler collection in the mail and look forward to creating that album.

I really enjoyed creating this Family Tree album for my mom and Dave. As soon as I had seen Simple Stories Generations collection, I knew I had to get the AccuCut Album Tree #2 die. I created each page and dedicate it to each family starting from the oldest sibling to the youngest. I used both the 12x12 design papers as well as the 6x6 paper pad. I just loved all the journal cards that were included in this collection. My favorite journal cards were the Bingo cards. On the other side of their page is where they can each write a letter or have the grand kids write a letter. I added a lot of beautiful I Am Roses flowers to each page and loved how it turned out. Here's a tussie mussie I created with a paper mache cone I purchased from Joanns. These make great gifts for Christmas or any occasion. My daughter Ariana loved the new journal books at Michaels and wanted me to alter one for her. She uses a ton of notebooks for her notes for school. I really enjoyed making this for her and loved the new DCWV The French Country paper stack. I finally used one of my new Greeting Farm stamps and love Blush Bonnie. I used the Spellbinders Labels Twenty die with the coordinating design papers and distressed the edges with Frayed Burlap Distress ink and add both images on top. I just love all the I Am Roses flowers and sprays on her journal.

Hi Everyone!
Here's my latest custom die that I designed with AccuCut Craft Custom Shape Pros. I have a ton of baby pictures of my girls and thought it would be perfect to create a baby crib die. I can't wait to make one for each of them. This will also make a great baby gift. I loved that I can also create a matching card to go with the mini album. For the boy crib mini album I used one of my all time favorite Nursery Tales collection by Prima and made a this mini album for my nephew. I really loved the shade of blue and green on the design papers. The card I used was K and Company's Watercolor Bouquet. This collection is so beautiful and was perfect for this die. I'm so happy with how it turned out and I can't wait to start my girls mini albums.

I purchased this adorable paper mache house from Michaels and loved the the size and shape. For the roof of the house I added the I Am Roses soft green two toned maple leaves and sprayed the LSG Glitz Spritz Scintillating Silver for that extra shimmer. I just love the new Romantique and Pixie Glen collection by Prima. The side of the house I added the soft green leaves, white curly flowers and mini roses to create a garden on the side. I also added a mini rose as my door knob for my door. I really enjoyed creating at tag book for inside my house.

I've been wanting a camera album for quite some time and found the perfect one from AccuCut Education. I love that it had both the cover page and inside page to create an album. I have so many ideas of what I want to do with this camera die. What I loved the most is that I can use any paper collection and it will go perfect with this die. I take so many photos and knew I just had to have this. For this album, I created a Bird theme album to dedicate my love for birds and birdcages. The K & Company Life's Journey and BW Flora and Fauna are one of my favorites and thought it would go perfect with this theme. I really loved how it turned out. I'm planning to add photos of different birds I had taken during my trips to the Zoo with my family. I can't wait to make one of my girls first day of school with the new Fancy Pants Off To School collection.
