Life at the Keever House

Well, happy Mother's Day to all of our mommy and soon-to-be mommy family and friends! This holiday has caused me to realize how much I look forward to being Wyatt's mom and how important a job that being a mother is. Not too much longer now! We're still counting down--64 days, I believe. Hopefully they will go by quickly!

Anyway, we had a doctor's appointment this past Thursday and everything was perfect. Wyatt is growing like a weed and seems to be right on schedule. The next appointment is in a couple of weeks, so we'll keep everyone posted on the results of that visit. I am also thrilled to report that just as expected, the Lord has completely healed me of that crazy PUPPP rash! The doctors told me that most women who get it, retain it until after the baby is born...so we just prayed and told God that we were not in agreement with that diagnosis but instead in agreement with His Word. And now it's gone, less than two weeks later!

And so our waiting game begins...

We are down to 69 days and counting until little Wyatt Timothy arrives...or is supposed to arrive. We are still praying that he makes an earlier appearance and have been filling him in on the best dates to have his grand entrance. Ideally, that would be the first week in July since Mommy and Daddy have to move back to Alabama! (that's right...the Navy is sending us to Montgomery the last week in July) But we know that babies do come in God's time and so we await the day...

Keep checking back and we'll do the best we can to update this blog thing. I can't guarantee with what regularity it will happen, but thought this a great way to keep the whole family and gaggle of friends up-to-date without having to send 5,000 emails a day!
