iPhone pictures

Both Wyatt and Reagan were awarded Student of the Month in the same month at school.

Taking a walk while Wyatt had baseball practice on base.

We could not even remember the last time it had rained. Loyal said he was "getting some rains on my belly".

At the second grade Mother's Day brunch with Wyatt.

A selfie I sent to Josh while relaxing on the beach in Jacksonville, FL. My Mother's Day gift this year to fly to Jax alone and visit my mom and the rest of my family! We also got to go shopping and attend The Players Championship golf tournament at Sawgrass.

At Papa's retirement BBQ, during the TPC. He had worked at the TPC for 52 straight tournaments...finally decided to retire at age 87. (He also got married two weeks later!)

Josh and the kids at Reagan's end of the school year program--I was still in Jax.

Loyal loved the souvenirs I brought him from my trip.

 Rea's ballet pictures...

Little man being so sweet while mommy gets her hair cut.

A selfie before date night with daddy.

Wyatt's baseball team--The Dodgers. And his coach, Bill.

Swim lessons at Hammond's Swim School

 Last day of second grade.

I surprised the kids with a trip to Skywalk on the first official day of summer.

The kids at the Clovis Antique/Junk Market. It was SO hot!

Rea, Millie and Megan at dress rehearsal.

Nana sent all of the kids new converse. They were beyond excited!

Bless him. He was so tired.

 At the pool on base...

My early birthday present! Happy 34 to me!

 Somebody got a boo boo!

Just a couple of dudes, in their britches, enjoying a movie together.

At the splash pad in Lemoore, trying to stay cool on a very hot day.

Playdates are so much more fun when your friends have a bunny! That's Mr. Fuzz.

That was our Amtrak ride and IHOP breakfast.

Sweet Rea before church, wearing a dress that my mother made for me.

And last night at Vacation Bible Adventure at our church. This years theme--Finding Glory (instead of Finding Dory). So cute and so much fun!

Lightning fast catch up

The last few months have been crazy busy...between all of the kids activities, the end of the school year and then all of the craziness that has already happened this summer I have been so bad about not only blogging but also at taking pictures to document it all. Thank goodness for my trusty iPhone or we wouldn't have much at all. So on this post, it will be a lightning quick update and then my next post will be a ton of pictures from my phone. Hold on to your hats...

Wyatt was in the spelling bee again this year. He did SO great! He wound up placing 5th in the whole county! I could not believe how many difficult words he was able to spell. There was such a difference in him between this year and last year. He had this confidence and maturity about him that I had not seen before. He's growing up fast!

Shortly after the spelling bee, Josh went to visit Reagan's kindergarten class. He did the same when Wyatt was in kindergarten too. He took all of his flight gear, talked to them about what his life is like as a pilot and encouraged the kids to do good in school! I think the little boys loved all of it--especially since they each got a turn to try the gear on for themselves.

Next up...Easter. This year the Easter bunny hid all of the kids eggs inside the house, since daddy forgot to turn off the sprinklers and the grass was soaking wet outside! The kids hunted their eggs, got to look through their baskets and then we were off to church. After church we came home and had a big lunch and I'm pretty sure there may have been some good naps.

There was quite a bit that happened between Easter and Reagan's ballet recital--end of the school year, swimming lessons, baseball....but I was too crazy busy to drag the camera around. You'll get to see some of those pictures in the next post. But Reagan's recital was on June 4th. It was called "Terrestria" and it was every bit as lovely as the recital last year. I am so proud of how much Rea has learned this year and much more poised she was on stage. Sorry for my blurry pictures--we had to sit clear at the back because we weren't sure if Loyal would need to leave at some point. I mean, he is two...thankfully I did have some headphones with me and he ended up watching a movie on my phone. Crisis averted!

Finally, in this ridiculously curt update, we rode the Amtrak up to Fresno this past Saturday with the kids. We got up super early and caught the 7:18am train. Upon arrival we walked to IHOP for breakfast. And then at 9:50 we caught the train back to Hanford. The kids loved it--especially the boys! We hadn't done this since before Loyal was born and we wanted him to have the experience too!

And that's all for now. I have got to get it together and start blogging more often...and start taking the camera with me more. Now that there are three of them running in opposite directions, I forget about the camera a lot. Maybe this summer I can figure out a good schedule and do weekly postings or something. We'll see!
