18 weeks.. only 22 more to go! I have to admit.. i LOVE being pregnant.. its such an amazing experience and i have been so lucky.. i have not gotten sick at all.. a little tired but nothing i cant handle! Cory and I went and got an ultra sound last weekend and tried to find out the sex of the baby.. but, the baby was stubborn and wouldn't open its legs and let us take a peek! haha so we have another ultra sound scheduled for around Christmas time!

If any of you have been watching the news I am sure you feel the same way that I do.. Our world is getting worse, whether it is crime, finances, religion, politics, or just your every day scene of the stock market down again, we all know that times are hard. I want to believe that things will get better, that soon people will be at peace with all other religions, that gas prices will stay low, the housing market will take a turn for the better, and that our stock market will boom again.. but we just don't know when. So I am sure for those of you who share the same faith as me you will have read this talk, but for those of you who missed it, who have never heard it, or just need something uplifting, please read this talk. Its by President Thomas S. Monson and its called "Finding Joy in the Journey". Its amazing how it keeps things in perspective for us, and keeps us finding peace when times get hard.

Yes... its true... we are expecting our first little one in may!!! We are so excited and cant wait to find out what we are having...

Ok so its really been since fathers day that i have posted a blog.. and lets be honest that is a long time!!... the sad thing is... its not that i have not posted because i have no time.. or because i am never on my computer.. because to tell you the truth when i am not at work. i am on the computer... looking up very important things of course.. NOT BLOGGING??? hahah ok.. so im "stalkblogging".. haha i love to look at peoples blogs and to tell you the truth i am envious of people who keep up to date blogs with pictures of every exciting event that happens in there life...at times i say to myself. my new goal is to blog 3 times a month.. that CANT be hard.. but as you can tell when you look back at my blog its pretty sad. So i decided i should blog today and explain that i have not blogged about my life lately because my CAMERA CORD TO MY COMPUTER THAT LETS ME DOWNLOAD MY PICTURES...is lost! SO BLAME IT ON MY CAMERA not me :)

Updates on our lives...
cory, still very busy at work.. lots and lots of work for him.. and little time for play.. but its ok.. it always pays off in the end.. and he absolutly loves what he is doing. this summer he traveld a lot with work, visiting offices for photo shoots and visiting apx customers... he has gotten to see a lot of the US, and had some wonderful experiences in the meantime. He has met so many wonderufl people in the last 6 months that he was been with apx and we are truly blessed to have this opportunity at this time in our lives. Besides work. cory has found a true love for GOLF... its kinda like an obsession rather than a love you might say.. but hes good at it.. and its a nice stress reliever from work.

Me, well my paragraph will be much shorter than his. I am still working at Kay Jewelers and currently filling in the Assistant Manager position until they can find someone more long term. Work is great, i love my associates, and i write my own schedule... so i cant complain. I am trying to be a more domestic wife.. i am TRYING to cook dinner the nights i am home.. ( thanks mom for all the cooking help) i have never been good at that..cooking just doesnt come natural to me. its is a goal of mine to become good at it! other then that.. i just watch LOTS of lame TV shows i cant get enough of and take care of my puppy BENZ while the husband works LONG hours :)

Life is good. I cant complain. cory and I have been truly blessed.

Happy Fathers Day to my Wonderful Husband.. who is not a daddy yet.. but he does have a dog, and he does tend to take care of my like my dad did when i was growing up... i.e gives me money when i need it..yells at me for spending to much..you know.. things like that! haha but really, i do love my husband so much and i truly do appreciate all that he does for me. He works so hard and is still a devoted husband. I love him so much and cant wait for when the day comes that he really is a dad...THANK YOU CORY for being so wonderful you are my very best friend and you really are the greatest.

My dad is and always has been such a great example to me, he is such a great guy with a hilarious personality.. he is the kind of dad that would and does do everything for his family.He is also such a fun pappa his grand kids love him so much! I feel so honored to be his daughter and to have the relationship i do with him. THANK YOU DAD for always being such a huge part of my life. i love you so much!!

Happy Fathers Day to my Wonderful Father-In-Law CAL... i am so lucky to have married into a family that i love..my father in law cal and i get along especially well.. we are more alike than i could have ever imagined, plus he always laughs at my jokes! He is such a great man and is as fun spirited as they come...I love you Cal thanks for making me feel like one of your own, i am lucky to have you as a part of my life!

I know.. i know.. i am the all time worst blogger ever... i wont make excuses but i will say that cory and i have been very busy. We have been out of town every weekend for the past two months, its been lots of fun but so crazy. This past week we went to Arizona with my family for our family vacation, usually we go to Hilton Head but this year we decided that since Jessi is 8 months pregnant and we are coming home for Christmas we would go some where closer to home. It was such a wonderful vacation, it was a little hot, about 108 but i am NOT complaining because I LOVE THE SUN and it has been in the 50's in utah! It was so great to get to see all of our cousins that live in Arizona. We spent a lot of time with them while we were there and made some fun memories with them!.. THANK YOU EVERTON FAMILES for letting us come and invade your lives for a week, it was so much fun! Being with my entire family this week made me really reflect on the things that are truly important in life.. i cant even being to explain how much i love my family.. they are my best friends and my most favorite people in this world, i am greatful for all that they do for me every day..for their support, and love... Life truly is about spending time with those that you love and cherishing every moment you get with them, life is to unpredictable for us to let it just pass us by.

Well since I have the greatest mom and husband, i was able to fly out to Ohio for a week and spend time with my family and friends! The reason i say i have a wonderful mom and husband was because my husband let me leave for a week without him, and my mom took a week of her time to go shopping, to dinner, to a play and to just hang out with me! It was a great week and it was so much fun seeing my family and my friends! Thank you mom for letting me come home! I love you

Well its been a long time since we have updated our blog, and after numerous complaints about how boring our page was i have decided to update the best i know how and let you all in our the past few months of our lives. Working retail life gets really busy during the holidays. Cory and I both worked at Kay Jewelers during the Christmas so that we would be able to see each other. We both worked 50 hours a week and spent lots of time getting ready for Christmas. Since neither of us could get work off to go home for Christmas we brought Christmas to our house. Cory's parents drove in from California and stayed a week with us and then my parents came in on Christmas eve and were able to spend Christmas with Cory and I and the Sistrunks. It was so wonderful being able to have our family with us during Christmas. What a blessing it truly is to have two wonderful families in our lives, and to be able to spend time with those people that we love so much! We had a great Christmas and a wonderful new years as well. On New Years Eve we went to Tepenyaki with our friends Bo and Steph. It was a lot of fun especially when the chef tried to make us all catch a shrimp in our mouth and everyone caught it but me!... well it landed right between my eyes.. i didn't even have a chance! After dinner we went up to Park City and went dancing with a group of friends. It was such a fun way to spend our first new years together!
