Spiritually Fed Wednesday (Thursday)

Sorry I am late..  We have had a week,  I know I don't usually say much on the spiritually fed time but today I am going to.  On Monday I ended up in the ER not being able to swallow and challenging to breath.  After 5 hours there we find out through a cat scan that I have a cyst in my neck/throat.   This week has been spent in many hours of prayers to lead me to the right doctor to get it looked at.  I will be going in tomorrow to have it looked at and possibly removed.  So my prayer has now changed to help the doctor know the best course of action and that it will continue to decrease in size so that I can swallow.

So today as a we go out and about did you think to pray??    Remember to always have a prayer in the heart and Our Heavenly Father is always there to listen, no prayer is stupid, no prayer is dumb, all prayers mean something and our Heavenly Father will listen and not judge and will be there ALWAYS.

 DID YOU THINK TO PRAY?

Ere you left your room this morning, Did you think to pray?
In the name of Christ, our Savior, Did you sue for loving
favor As a shield today?    Oh, how praying rests the
weary!  Prayer will change the night to day.
So, when life gets dark and dreary.  Don't forget to pray.

When your heart was filled with anger, Did you think to pray?
Did you plead for grace, my brother, That you might forgive another
Who had crossed your way?   Oh, how praying rests the
weary!   Prayer will change the night to day.
So, when life gets dark and dreary, Don't forget to pray.

When sore trials came upon you, Did you think to pray?
When your soul was full of sorrow, Balm of Gilead did you
borrow At the agates of day?  Oh, how praying rests the
weary!  Prayer will change the night to day.
So, when life gets dark and dreary, Don't forget to pray.

Love to you all...

Spiritually Fed Wednesday

Sorry it has been so long...    Our Wednesday's seem to be filled with so many activities.

I'LL FOLLOW HIM IN FAITH

The Lord has blessed with me with gospel truth.
I have learned Hi ways in my early youth.
I will share my light for I know it's right
To testify of Him.
The Lord has blessed me with simple faith.
If I pray for help, He will give me strength.
I will do His work. I will gladly serve.
I'll follow Him in faith.

The Lord has blessed me to feel His love.
I have felt His promptings and learned to trust.
So in all I do, I'll be faithful to
The things I know are true.
The Lord has blessed me in many ways.
With a thankful heart I will sing His praise.
I will raise my voice and proclaim my choice
To follow Him in faith.

He has shown the way, and through all my days,
I'll follow Him in faith.

This is such a beautiful song.  I love it...  FAITH...

I know I have needed to fall back on my faith many times.  I am thankful that I have it there to help lift me up when the everyday world is pounding at my door.   I love the gospel,  I love knowing that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me and knows me.   I am thankful that he is there to hear my prayers and give me guidance.  I know he answers prayers, sometimes it isn't on our time frame or when we think it should be but he answers them and sometimes he answers them in a way that we didn't want.  We have to remember that he knows what is best for us.   I Pray that we all have a little faith in all we do and faith in ourselves.  Happy WEDNESDAY!!!

the PERSUASIONS

We went to the Persuasions this last week...  oh what fun!!!   the boys loved it so they talked Kennen into taking them back on the night performance.  It was fun!!!    They called all the kids up and they sat down on the floor with them and sang songs they would know.  The boys thought that was so cool that someone would take the time and make them feel special.  If they Persuasions ever come to a place near you I highly recommend you going.  If you don't know who they are..   google them and then buy a cd..  :)

We had a GREAT St. Patrick's day..  We love that holiday at our house.   We woke up to green pancakes,  went to pe and came home and started making Irish stew..  I do have to say,  I did a good job for my very first try at it.  It was DELISH!!!   The boys all loved it.   Then over the weekend we had our corned beef and cabbage meal.

What fun we had with the little holiday.  The sun was shining and the wind was very little this last weekend so we were able to go out and have a game of basketball and do somethings in the yard.  How I can't wait for the warm weather to stay.

All is well here...   just doing school and scouts and everything else we do,  life gets crazy with this little family I have.  I just had to drop a short note on here to remember what we did last week.  Thanks for listening to my ramblings..  :)

Our Sunday Adventure

Our Sunday Adventure...  We love driving the Oregon/Mormon Trail and today was no different
We started off going to Emigrant Gap...  Yes we have a visitor his name is Flat Stanley.  My Nephew is allowing us to have adventures with him

Our Second stop was to Willow Springs..  This is the first fresh water place the pioneers came to after leaving the North Platte River
Here is the remains of where the pioneers would stop for the water.
yes it is a hoof...   any idea from what animal???   It is an antelope, the boys thought that was way cool and wanted to keep it.
This is the top of Prospect Hill ..  It is a BEAUTIFUL view.
Sid in his styling sunglasses from the eye doctor.   What a silly boy!!!
Independence Rock..   I thought I was going to die..  I am so out of shape I guess I need to get a gym pass or something.
Flat Stanley and Robbie check out the date..   1847   crazy..   Look how pretty it is from the top of the rock.
This is me, Robbie and Flat Stanley  taking a rest on the rock..  :)
Sid, Flat Stanley and me...   resting...   like I said I was going to die..  Winter here must be long and I must not exercise enough.
Robbie..  look he is SMILING
Sid...   the boys found a game to do while waiting on Kennen..  throw a ball up and see how fast it can come back down Independence Rock.
This last picture is of the moon over Independence Rock.  Robbie took this picture..    Our adventure today was a blast.   Thankful Kennen drove cause we went through some mud and snow..  but not much so that is always a plus.   I sure do love my family and am so glad that we are able to go out and explore.  What a great opportunity we have to teach and learn about the pioneers.   We live right in the middle of all the happenings.  Hope you all had a great Sunday also.  Love to you!

it's been awhile......

Kennen's Birthday...   yummy homemade cake and frosting
We were able to go to a motel for the weekend of Kennen's birthday,  the boys love swimming
On our way to Utah the weekend of March 6  the weather was snowing but it made the windmills look beautiful
The boys at classic skating..  Kennen's sister invited us to go with them since it was a free day for their kids school.  Thanks Moe for the invite we had a great time.
The kids were able to ride scooters which made it fun...  go Robbie!!
Sid had a blast...  he didn't want to leave.
Kennen and Sid swimming...    this is why we stay in a motel.   Gotta have a pool and a hot tub
Robbie has so much fun playing in the water..  He is our little fish.

We had a great time visiting family while we were in Utah..  I got really sick and started throwing up and such which means that the boys were able to go play and visit without me.  Sorry for those we didn't see but I stayed in the motel room next to the bathroom.    So I totally missed Sid picking out his first pair of glasses..  :(   a sad moment for a mom so I have no idea what they will even look like, but he is super excited for them to arrive.

We have been busy with school and all of the extra things we do..   it is so fun being able to teach the boys and have them home.  They are such a joy and they bring so much fun and laughter into our home.

We love you all!!!
