It is field trip time!! We have been saving up for about 6 years in this jug, It finally got full. We dumped out the money... sorted it, got out all the bent, yuck coins, got out all the old coins, the wheat pennies, the Canadian, etc..
Sid found all the wheat pennies.. :) He loves coins.
The pile after it was all dumped.. yikes!!! We had so much fun taking it to the bank.. watching the money go through the counter and all the bags fill up. It took almost 2 hours to count it with the machine.. Thankful for that counting machine. :) Any guesses on how much it was??? I will leave you to wonder... The boys were sad that they didn't get the money.. but as we are the parents we are it went into the bank.
We have been so busy with school, snow, helping friends that I haven't blogged for a long time. Sorry!! School is going good. We are plugging along and hit our 100 day mark last Saturday. Go us!!! only 70 more to go then Summer here we come!!!! The boys are loving pe still.. This week was our last art week. They raised the price from 3 dollars a child to 8 dollars. I can not justify almost 20 bucks a week for art. yikes!! But... We started back up our Science classes. The boys are having fun with that. Last week they did an egg drop. They made "helmets" for their eggs and then did different tests on them to see which helmet would protect the "brain" the best. Sid's helmet gave him head trauma as he had fluids leaking.. Robbie's helmet was perfect as his "brain" didn't even crack. :)
Kennen has been busy with work and Young Mens... I have been helping a friend with her family since they had their 7 year old fall and end up in surgery . She has 5 boys and we hangout with them often. So While she was doctoring and such the boys and I went there to help out. Also been busy with another friend who is in the young womens .. they had a dinner they had to do so helped her prepare for that. :) With school, church, etc.. We don't have much down time. So I guess my body last weekend said enough and I ended up with the flu. :( nobody else got it thankfully but it must have been my body saying slow down.
Hope this finds you well. We are loving the weather. The snow, the sun... NOT the wind. :) The boys are getting big and oh how I love spending all day with them. The best job EVER!!!!

Today is a special day at our house. :) It is DADDY's birthday.. We are singing loud and full of cheer to celebrate this special persons special day. We are so very blessed to have this man in our lives. We love him very very much. 
He is the sweetest man I know. I can't imagine my life without him. He is the best daddy, husband, friend. He makes me laugh when I want to be angry. He makes the boys laugh and they LOVE spending time with him.
