Picnics & Pigtails
Here are some pics of Kennedy playing with her Christmas gifts. While we were in Norman, her cousin, Quincy wore pigtails and Kennedy was so enamored by them. She has been asking for them since we got home. She is obsessed with her pigtails and making sure they are still there.

She's a safety girl, using her pot holder.
I love the praying, even for imaginary tea.

Miss manners has her napkin in her lap, even for a floor picnic.

Infamous pigtails!

White Christmas, North Pole, and Driving Lessons
We had a great Christmas in Norman. On Saturday, we got snow, it was suppose to be a light dusting, but we got quite a bit more than that. It froze over night so we were homebound for a while, but by Sunday afternoon the sun came out and we were able to get out. We took the girls to North Pole City, a Christmas store that is packed with everything Christmas. The original plan was to take the girls to ride the train in the back of the store, but the train was not working the day we were there. But as you can see there was plenty for them to look at despite the broken down train. For Christmas Gigi got the girls matching cars. They had a ball crashing all over Gigi and Popee's house.

Christmas Decorations
Not much to post about, we went to a local parade on Saturday, but I didn't get any good pics to post. So, this post is for Mom she wanted to see my Christmas decorations and of course she always wants to see Kennedy.

Disney World
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Mickey's House. It was good to be with family and Kennedy had a great time. She was fearless when it came to the characters she walked right up to them and handed them her autograph book. Her favorite ride was "IT'S A SMALL WORLD" she rode it 3 times. We are ready to enjoy all of the holiday flare that comes with time of year. Below are some pics of my brave girl greeting all of the characters.

Weekend in Norman
We went to Norman, to see Ken's fam for the weekend. Kennedy had a great time with her Quincy. The girls dressed up in their Halloween costumes to show Gigi. We also found a Mickey at the local Walmart that we thought we would practice with for Disney. We will see how the real one goes.

I've heard cows are lazy, but this takes the cake.

Halloween 2007
Here are some pics of my little cow. We had a lot of fun trunk or treating and playing the games at the fall festival. Also, a man that Ken works with made Kennedy the most precious jack-o-latern, there is a picture of it below.

Kennedy enjoyed her first pumpking carving experience. We finished with one of her favorite activities, icing cookies. Here are some pics of the fun!

Story Time With "Rexy"
On Wednesday, we met a movie star. We attended story time at the Bentonville Public Library, which by the way was very good. They have two different groups one that ranges from 0-2 years of age and then 3 years to 5 years. So, it was very well tailored for this very active 2 year old. At any rate, they had a "dino" as Kennedy calls them on display in the library and we found out that it is the actual "Rexy" from Night at the Museam. Apparently, "Rexy" went on a nationwide tour to promote the release of the DVD which culminated with his new home at the Bentonville Library. It is a new library and it is very nice, it has a coffee house in the lobby and a huge children's wing. We had a great time! I'll end with some pics of

Not much to post this week. Ken was gone from Tuesday through Friday. So, Kennedy and I hit the boxes hard. We have got most things unpacked and put away, but not anything on the walls yet.
Kennedy has been busy making new friends. We went to the playground and "Little Miss Social" went right to work. She greeted everyone on the playground and asked a little boy "pees" if she could use his sand tools. She is adjusting just fine.
Saturday, there was a neighborhood garage sale, so we all three headed out to walk around and see if there was anything we couldn't live without. There is a Sonic with in walking distance of our house, so we headed down for lunch. (You don't know how much you appreciate Sonic until it's gone!) :)
Kennedy has now moved to a booster seat. She thinks she is such a big girl in her new chair. I don't have much else to post so I'll just post some pics of Kennedy.

Kennedy in her big girl chair.

Kennedy found my fuzzy slipper socks and
wanted to put them on. They look more like boots on her.

It's official, we are Arkies! Friday we had our car plates changed over and got our Arkansas drivers licenses. It was a sady day for this Texas girl. We moved in Friday night and spent our first night in our new home. There are boxes everywhere, but it feels like home. Kennedy thinks it's Christmas as we open each box she is enjoying toys she has not seen in 5 months.

Mom and Dad flew Kennedy and me down to Corpus to celebrate Kennedy's 2nd birthday, and then Ken's family came up this weekend to help us celebrate. So, Kennedy's been turning two for quite some time now.

We have been attending the Nazarene church here in Bentonville, and it will be nice to become more involved now that we have a much shorter drive. I will post more later, but wanted to let everyone we are doing good and praising God for our new home!

Love to all!

Jennifer

Kennedy really bonded with the goat.

What a big girl on her new trike!
