Quiet Fox
Our sweet Paxton had his Thanksgiving program at school last week and it is one of my favorite things each year.  This year Paxton was and Indian and his name was "Quiet Fox", named by his teacher.  They sang several sweet songs, quoted a poem and a couple of scriptures.  There was a slide show of all of their activities this semester.  His school is so great about making sure there is an individual photo of each child in the slide show, and of course it's set to some emotional song about children - so I was a mess.  After the program the parents stay and have Thanksgiving feast with the kids.  It was such a great start to our Thanksgiving break.

Fishing
Last weekend Ken took the kids and me fishing.  Both kids like fishing, but together they were to interested in playing so they spooked most of the fish.  Ken's the only one that caught anything and once by accident, his hook happened to snag a fish by the gill.  After an exercise in futility we decided to go on a hike instead.  The property belongs to Ken's bosses and they kids enjoyed climbing up in the deer blinds.  We didn't see any wildlife, but I wasn't expecting to considering we have a pretty rowdy crew lol.

Fall Festival
We attended a Fall Festival put on by the kid's school's Church.  Kennedy chose to be a pink daisy and Paxton was Optimus Prime.  They enjoyed several fun games, candy at every booth, bounce houses, petting zoo, and cake walk.  Kennedy got her face painted and Paxton got to shoot a BB gun.  The kids had a blast!

Pumpkins and SDC
A few weeks back, the kids had a free Friday off of school, and Ken was out of town, so I decided I would take them to Silver Dollar City for the day.  The weather had other plans, though.  We woke up to pouring down rain and it rained for 4 hours straight!  So, we decided to head to the movies instead and then we picked up some pumpkins for painting.  It was a fun relaxing day! However, we still wanted to catch the Harvest Festival at SDC, so we headed up to Branson last weekend.  The weather was cold, but we layered enough to stay warm.  The kids had a blast!  They were both tall enough to ride the Tea Cups by themselves this trip and this was very exciting for this motion sickness mama.

Kennedy's pumpkin had four faces on it, lol.

Kennedy in her very own teacup - she was soooo excited!

Paxton's all time favorite ride.

I think Kennedy's all time favorite is Grandpa's Mansion - she loves this crazy fun house!

Happy Birthday Cuz!
My Mom LOVES to surprise people, and she gave Kennedy a doozy on her birthday.  My parents flew up the weekend after Kennedy's birthday, which she knew about, however they brought her cousin Adyson, which she did not know about.  I will post the surprise video in a separate post.  Kennedy had so much fun having Ady all to herself, I'm sure Ady left here exhausted.  We visited our favorite pumpkin patch while they were here and it was a lot of fun.
