Heart Day 2012
We had a great Valentines Day, very laid back just like I like it.  I wanted to share the kids Valentine's below - cute idea thanks to Pinterest.  We usually, order the heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's, but the kids have become very enamored by the Mini Murph pizza kits.  They really enjoy making their own pizza, and I enjoy ordering grown up pizza like Herb Chicken Mediterranean.

Snow Day
It didn't look like we were going to get one this winter, but it happened.  We didn't get a lot of snow and the roads were pretty clear, but we got a snow day none the less.  The kids had a blast playing in it, and of course to keep with tradition we made snow ice cream.

Upward Cheer and Friend Day
Kennedy is doing Upward Cheer this year and she loves it.  I have been very impressed with her ability to remember her cheers and the moves.  A couple of weeks ago, they had their first game.  They spend the first half of the game practicing, they do a cheer at halftime, and then spend the second half of the game on the sidelines cheering.  This past weekend, Kennedy got a star for yelling the loudest, now that is no surprise to me.  Also, the same weekend we had "Kids Day" at church, the theme was sports and Kennedy wanted to wear her cheer uniform to church, so she did.  Ken and I were helping in the three year old class, so we all wore our OU gear.  It was a fun day!

I Heart February
February is my favorite month of the year.  It's my birthday month, it holds my second favorite holiday (Christmas is my favorite), and I just love all the pinks and reds, hearts, and candy that comes with this month.  I actually got my birthday gift on Thursday (17 days early), it is a new camera.  I have been a shooting fool ever since, poor Paxton was thinking the paparazzi invaded the house on Friday.  So, I decided to do a post on my Valentine decor, not so much because of the decor, but because I was playing with my camera and the first picture posted is my favorite.  So here's my first photo shoot.

Looks like some little fingers have left their proof on the candy display.
