Easter Weekend

We kicked off the Easter Weekend with dying some eggs and baking cookies

KK and Pop decided to join in on the fun (and possibly for reinforcement :)  )

I think this cookie needs a few more sprinkles

now time to dye eggs
Fulton loved dunking the eggs into each cup and decided about half way through he could just pick up the eggs with his hands.  Sorry his hands looked like the Grinch when he got home, sister

major concentration going on here

whew...dying eggs is exhausting...time for a nap

little did I know what lying in the den floor would get me...playing horsey

Easter morning in front of the cross at church

time for lunch at Mom & Dad's

We're glad that Steven's parents joined us for lunch too

family picture time

Fulton thought this little bike was the perfect size for him

My Easter themed cake...thanks to Pinterest

time for Easter baskets

I decided to put money in some of the eggs before Steven and Matt hid them.  Fulton was so interested in opening each and every egg after finding it to see what was inside.  He didn't care for the fact that some of them were empty :)

showing off one his eggs he found!

Such a great day spent with our families celebrating the resurrection!

Five on Friday

I thought today would be good time to do a little Five on Friday and recap what's been going on the past few weeks...

Going to the Baron's game with sweet friends

Spending time with friends going to some places around Birmingham we'd  never been to

A Day out with Thomas...seeing Thomas the Train
We had a great time, but I think that Fulton had the most fun!
We rode the train, played in the bounce house, got a train tatoo on our face...and to end our perfect morning with Thomas...rode the golf cart back to the car

digging through some old pictures and found these little gems of sister and I from a few Easters past

I've been looking for a cross for my front door and finally found one!
I came across a lady on FB that makes these.  I love it and it looks great on our front door.

Happy Good Friday!
