Our New Townhouse

The kitchen. It is one of the bigger kicthens I have had. Not quite as big as my mom's but  still nice. I like the island  but I really wish it has an outlet somewhere.

We do like having the patio attached to the kitchen so I can be cooking or cleaning and keep an eye on the adventurous toddler.
I HAVE A LAUNDRY ROOM! I love that it is not in the bathroom or in my kitchen especially! I keep toying around with the idea or buying an extra rack to place above the appliances that way I can have more storage.
Dinning Room, I have yet to take down our decorations from our Fisher Price party, I think they are festive.
Some days I feel like I have a legit house because I have a half bathroom. Of course we rarely use it because it smells like smoke! Our neighbors are smokers and this room is the worst. Sometime I can smell it coming through the dryer or the a/c upstairs if it is not on, but this bathroom always smells of smoke.
Living Room. These are our new couches. We bought them this summer at a store that was closing out. They made our old apartment look a lot nicer. I am really excited about my wall collage and after thanksgiving we will be taking our family pictures and I will finally finish putting pictures in all those frames. I also need to get a rug for the floor. Any suggestions on good places to find one?
Leslie decided  to decorate our door for "Halloween" but I have a guess they will be up for a while.

Our Harry Potter Cupboard. It goes around the corner too which is nice too but one of the ways they cut corners was to not tile that part that wraps around. For some reason I thought there would be more room in here and that we could fit Leslie's kitchen in there like a mini play room. Oh well. I do like having it for all that stuff you only use every now and then

The gaps between the railings are HUGE! Leslie plays in them all the time. I need to get some sort of netting to put on it so when Emma gets moving all around she won't fall over.
I am so glad we finally have a space to put this quilt. David's grandmother made it for us. It has the Rexburg Temple, where we were married stitched into. We held a yard sale in October at my parents house. My mom's neighbor added some stuff to the sale and one item was this quilt hanger. I was so excited. The quilt is white on the back and I was always afraid of it getting dirty, but I felt guilty that it sat in a bag for years. Now we can finally use it.

With two girls we have twice as many bows. However I still wonder where some of them go. I feel like a lot of them go missing and I can never find them.Even when we don't leave the house. It really is a mystery to me.
The girl's bathroom. On the side wall I want to try to duplicate an owl and frame it. I just can't decide if I should make it out of paper or fabric or how best to tackle this little project.

Pink Pink Pink
It is nice that the girls have a bigger room, more space to play and make messes of course.

Master bedroom.I have three pictures to put up above the bed but decided to wait on buying anything else. October ended up being an expensive month.

There is not a lot of counter space or storage in our bathrooms. This makes me feel like I am in college again.

Overall we like our new place. Until David's office moves to the galleria area  he is a 20 minute walk from work.We live across the street from a park, we have met a lot more neighbors than we ever did in our old complex and things get fixed just a bit faster. Some days I do miss my third bedroom where I could leave projects out and just close the door  and I nor Leslie would have to see it. But I think we are happy here.

Old Hallow Eve's Celebration

Preparing for her starring role

Sometimes we are cruel parents. This is Emma in Leslie's doll's Build A Bear Costume. We couldn't quite velcro it on her.

Our two Rapunzels

Ready for the ward Trunk or Treat

The Royal Family and buddy Pascal
Orginally I was suppose to be gothel, David was to be Flynn. However my sewing machine is broken.:( And I was having no luck finding anything close to pre made costumes for pascal(not even a frog!) or the correct looking vest for Flynn so we splurged on premade costumes for the adults. They will make appearances for years to come . Orur neighbor gave Leslie her costume, since her daughter outgrew it. Leslie was so excited!

Rapunzel with her dangerous frying pan

Some Narian Folk and Ariel

I thought B's costume was so cute!

Trunk or Treating

My friend Laura did such a great job on thier angry bird costumes.

One of  the mom's from our weekly playgroup hosted a halloween special edition. They made halloween grub, with worms, bat poop and such and told stories. It was so cute!

One of our neighbors invited us over to carve pumpkins with her. Leslie was much more interested in playing with all the toys than helping me carve and such. This is the first pumpkin I carved since maybe I was in elementrary school. I have some room for inprovement.

Just before our night of Trick or Treating

At a door ready to knock

Riding in style. It was a SUPER cold and windy for our trunk or treat, so it was nice that Emma's costume was warm. However on the 31st it was much warmer so I think it might have been to warm that day.

A little bit of this and that

At the end of July our baby turned four months and I decided to try her on some solids. Boy did she love it! Leslie also wanted to help feed her, she thought it was so cool.

Emma's  first zoo trip

We went to Miller Outdoor Theatre and watched Annie

Grandpa was so nice to hold Emma for the majority of  Allison's wedding reception

She really wanted to be a mermaid.

Emma's first beach trip

For our  four year anniversary we went to Red Lobster. David had never eaten real crab before so I thought it was high time he did.
