Meeting the New Coach!!!

Julie, Addison, and I went to the Auburn Opelika Airport this evening along with several hundred others to welcome our new football coach, Gene Chizik. I videoed the entire time and realized I was the second fan to have a picture made with the new coach. Wow, I am going to be famous.

War Eagle

On Saturday we went to Auburn's Homecoming game. The Auburn Tigers finally pulled off a victory. This was Addison's third game to go to this year. She really enjoys it. Lindsey, her babysitter, made her a dress for the game. Isn't it precious! She did a great job. Addison will get to wear it one more time for the Georgia game next weekend. Hopefully Auburn can pull off another victory. It doesn't look hopeful though.

Addison is definately a daddy's girl

I had to take some pictures of her outside because I just loved the dress so much! It is adorable.

6 months old today

MOOOOOOOOOOOOO

This past weekend we took a trip up to Birmingham to visit family and friends. On Friday we went to Cullman, AL to visit with Mama and Papa C (Addison's great grandparents). While there Addison got to play with her cousin Kylie, who is about 3 months older than her.
We couldn't of picked a better costume for little miss Addison. While in Culman, there just happened to be some real cows on Kevin's aunt and uncles land that she was able to get her picture made with.
After we left there we went to our friends Cris and Anna's house and visited with them for Halloween. Addison went trick or treating for a little while and helped us pass out the candy. We had a great time.

Look how big Addison is getting

Hanging out outside with Daddy and Duke

I love to cook

Look at me sitting up

Enjoying the sunshine

Happy girl

Addison is now sitting up on her own. She even knows how to get on her tummy after sitting up. She is reaching for everything in site and is trying to put everything in her mouth. Addison went to the new babysitter's house, Lindsey, last Friday and had a great time. She has a little girl named Emry that Addison gets to play with. Emry likes sharing all her toys with her. I should be at home with her for the next month since work does not need me right now. We are going to have lots of fun together. She will be 6 months old on Sunday and it will be time to start some baby food. We are planning on going to Birmingham this weekend for Halloween. We are going to see Cris and Anna, our friends that we love hanging out with.

5 months old

Duke and Addison

Look how big your getting

Addison is now 5 months old and weighs about 15 pounds. She is reaching for everything and is teething. She tries to eat everything. She has a little tooth trying to push its way through. I can see a little white dot on her gums. We started eating some foods other than milk. So far she has had cereal and sweet potatoes. She likes the sweet potatoes the best. I have started reading a book called Super Baby Food. It teaches you how to introduce food to your kids and how to make your own baby food. I made her some sweet potatoes today in ice cube trays.

Addison usually goes to the babysitter one or two days a week. I found out Monday that her babysitter is moving. Her husband is getting a promotion and moving to Addison, Texas of all places. They will be moving within a month so I have started the process of looking for another sitter. We are really going to miss Jana. She was wonderful.

I have been working a day or two a week at the hospital to keep myself in pharmacy. Addison and I also like to just get out of the house. We go to bible study on Wednesday mornings. She likes doing that too. It is funny because the nursery workers that keep her have red hair. She likes that and does really well for them. She is growing up so fast. She has almost mastered sitting by herself. She just gets tired after a while and starts to fall backwards, but she is doing good. We still go on our daily walk with the dogs. Now that the weather is getting cooler it is a lot more fun to get outside. Addison really loves her dogs and is always reaching for them.
