Your First Football Game

GO TIGERS GO!

Dear Addison,
Yesterday was your first football game. It was against Southern Miss. It was a lot of fun but also very hot. We started off the day by walking to the tailgate spot. When we got there we had a few snacks and then got ready to go to the game. Someone gave you your first ticket. We walked to the game and found the cool zone when we got there. You were very sweaty so we cooled you off with the fans. Me and you stayed there most of the game, while daddy went to sit with Cris and Anna. We decided to go to the stands towards the end. Right when we got down there it started pouring down rain. Everyone was soaked. You thought it was funny getting all wet and laughed and laughed. After the game, we went back to the tailgate spot where we grilled hot dogs and watched more football. We had a great time and you were such a good trooper. When we got home I gave you a bath and put you to bed earlier since it was such a long day again. Here are some pictures of your first game. WAR EAGLE!

4 months old

Addison and her cousins (Josh, Ella Kate, and Victoria)

Dear Addison,
You are now four months old and growing more and more everyday. We went to the doctor for your 4 month checkup and you got your second set of shots on Wednesday. You now weigh 14 lbs 9 oz and are 25 inches long. The doctor says that you are a healthy baby and are growing just right. We get to start cereal this month. I will definately have to get some pictures of this! I am sure it will be a site to see. We will start this week.
We had a great trip to Texas to visit our family. We were there the last half of August. While there you got to hang out with your family and cousins: Josh, Victoria, and Ella Kate. Ella Kate called you Baby Addison and loved to play Gitcha Gitcha Goo with you. It was a lot of fun watching you interact with them. Momma and Pappa J especially enjoyed you being in there home. I sure do miss being there in Texas sometimes. We also took you to your first Texas Rangers baseball game. We had box seats which was really nice and something your mom and dad have never had before. It was nice having our own place to watch the game with kids that could run around and not worry about them.
This weekend we will take you to your first Auburn football game and your first tailgating experience. Hopefully it will go well. We missed the first home game since we were in Texas at cousin Ryan and Joanna's wedding. I am sure the game will be hot but it will be fun.
You have started to reach for things this week and still love being in your exersaucer. You started playing a lot with a tiger and we named her Aubie. You are growing more and more everyday and we love watching you. Here are some pictures of our trip to Texas.
Love, Mom
