What have we been up to?

Sorry we haven't posted in a while. We have been keeping busy though. Addison took her first trip to Birmingham without mommy and daddy 2 weeks ago. Aunt Maleah took her to Momma Rose and Grandaddy's house on Saturday and brought her back Sunday evening. She had such a good time and they loved having her. It was also nice for me and Kevin to have some times to ourselves to get some things done. This was the first time that Addison had ever spent the night away from me. Everyone liked it so much that she is going back next weekend to visit. She will go on Friday afternoon. On Saturday, her cousin is having his 1 year birthday party she will go to with Momma Rose, and then will come back on Sunday. Kevin is going to go to the Mississippi State game and I have to work.

My mom, Momma J, came and spent a week with us last week. We had such a good time. Too much fun, we forgot to take any pictures. My dad and his 3 friends take an annual golf trip together to play all of the Robert Trent Jones golf courses. They came in on Thursday and stayed till Sunday, but my mom got to stay for a whole week. We had them over for dinner after their golfing and then me, my mom, and Kevin did lots of yard work. We planted shrubs, cleared and cut back bushes, and made flower beds. It was a lot of work and we wore my mom out. But we had fun. Addison loves her Momma J. We can't wait for her to come back and visit.

First Auburn Football Weekend

This past weekend was the first Auburn football game. Our friends, Cris and Anna came down and brought their son Jonathan. We had such a good time. Both of the kids did so well at the game. I was shocked at how well Addison did. Usually she is a wiggle worm and does not like to sit still. She was so good at the game and just sat and watched and clapped. It was so neat. Hopefully she will grow up to love football and going to the games with her daddy.
