Daddy Daughter Night

Friday nights at our house are usually fun with daddy because I have to work until 9pm. Kevin took the girls to the first basketball game this season by himself. (I can't say I would be that brave)

They got everything in their seats and then it was time to eat.

A grandmother behind Kevin asked him if he could use some help since he was trying to get Addison and his food situated along with feeding Annalee and keeping her happy. He let her give Annalee a bottle.

Then the lady behind her wanted to hold and play with her, so she got next in line. One lady even took Addison to the bathroom with her and when she came back she had a bucket of popcorn :)

I think they had a great Daddy Daughter night out.

Annalee's 1st Football Game

We decided to take the girls to the Homecoming game this year. This was Annalee's first game and Addison's first game this year. Overall, they did well. We only made it through Tiger Walk and 1 quarter though, and then it was time to go home for nap time.

Riding her tricycle

Teaching Sister how to eat

Playing at the pumpkin patch

2 1/2 years old
Playing with Sister. Of course, picking her feet. Something she does all the time

Our little girl is getting so big. She is potty trained during the day when she is awake which I am proud of her for that. We still haven't mastered nap time and bedtime-that will come with time. The first of September something clicked in her head that she could potty and she has gotten better every day.

Addison loves her sister so much. She loves to make her giggle and take care of her. Lately she has been undressing Annalee and taking her diaper off. She wants to change her. She has even named her baby Annalee.

She loves to sing songs. Addison is always asking us to sing a song. She has different favorites at different times. She also loves to read books.

She still enjoys going to school on Thursdays and Fridays with her friends. Addison has learned so much there.

Addison loves to go shopping and each store is known by a different color
Target: Red Store
Walmart: Blue Store
Publix: Green store
Kroger: white store
Her favorite is the red store

She says some of the funniest and sweetest things.
Here are some examples:
"Mom, can you pull my leaves up?" (can you push my sleeves up on my shirt)
Sister eat oat nilk (oatmeal)
She still calls ice cream "sheshon"
Everytime we pass by our church she says, "Mom that is my church. I want to go to church in morning"
Anytime Ally gives her a kiss she says, "Mom, Ally hurt me."
She had to get a flu shot and she called it her "blue shot"
We ask her if all the time if she loves daddy. She says Nope!! I love Mommy and Sister loves Daddy!! We ask her if Sister loves Mommy. She again says Nope!! Sister loves Daddy and I love Mommy!!
Today on the way home from school she asked, "Mom, can I put my cowboy outfit on?"
We also joke that she is hard of hearing because her new favorite word is What??? This gets repeated over and over again.
Somehow she is not very good at saying yes or no . It is Yep and Nope. We are working on that. It is better than everything being Tae (for ok) like it was last month.

We are having so much fun with her and she keeps us smiling and laughing.

6 Months Old

Annalee is already 6 months old. Hard to believe she is so big. I think the second child grows a lot faster than the first, probably because there is no sitting down time!!
We went to the doctor yesterday for her checkup. She weighs 16 lbs 10 oz and 26 1/2 inches long (50th percentile).

Annalee has recently found her feet and loves eating them!

She is such a happy baby. Loves to look at you and smile. She has started babbling a lot more. Addison will talk baby talk and she will try to repeat it. Annalee just loves to laugh. I think she is going to be the funny child. Addison is so proud of her sister.

Feeding Annalee rice cereal for the first time. Of course, Addison had to help. So far she has eating rice cereal, oatmeal, applesauce, and sweet potatoes. She likes them all so far.

Sitting up all by herself. She started this about 5 1/2 months.

She is really teething but hasn't gotten any teeth yet. Hopefully soon. Her clothes are usually soaked in slobber.
Annalee had her first ear infection this past month. Hope she don't have ears like her daddy and Uncle Tyler.

Happy Halloween Weekend

We hope everyone had a fun time this weekend. I wanted to break out the cow costume again this year for Annalee since I think it so cute.
Here is our little Moo Cow (Annalee)

Addison the Moo Cow

Here is Addison when she was the same age. Trick or treating and hanging out with the cows. Unfortunately we didn't have any cows around us this year to get Annalee's picture made.

And I had to coordinate the cow costume so I made Addison a little cow girl.

We started off the fun with a carnival at church on Thursday night.

Addison playing games for candy

Pretty much all she wanted to do this year was eat candy.

Riding the train.

Friday she had her school carnival. Again, all she wanted to do was eat the candy!!
