Naptime at our house

Ever since Annalee has been at our house, Addison is not napping most days. She always has to have room time each afternoon. Somedays she takes a nap, sometimes she doesn't. This is where I found her one day. Asleep on the floor after playing. She just wore herself out.

One Month Old

Can't believe Annalee is already one month old. She is doing great!
Here are some things that happened her first month:

1. Momma J, Aunt Janna and Makenlee for a couple of weeks. Pappa J also came for 3 days and built a swing set.
2. We celebrated Addison's 2nd birthday and Mother's Day with Uncle Tyler, Aunt Heather, Momma Rose, Grandaddy and Aunt Maleah.
3. Addison has renamed Annalee, "Sister". So this is what she is referred to the majority of the time.
4. We took a trip to Georgia to visit my friend Katie and have newborn pictures made with my favorite photographer, Karen with Picturelily Photography.
5. We took a trip to Birmingham and had a get together with The Coggin family
6. She took her first airplane ride to Dallas, Texas. We spent twelve days there.
7. She went to church for the first time
8. Annalee is eating every 3 hours during the day.
9. She slept pretty well at night, usually waking up twice to eat.
10. At her 1 month checkup she weighed 10 lbs 5 oz and 23 inches long. She is bigger than Addison was so far, but pretty close in size. Addison weighed 10 lbs 2 oz and 23 inches long at her 1 month checkup.
11. The doctor said she had a mild heart murmur. They did an EKG at the office and her rhythm was fine so no further testing is needed. Praise the Lord!

We have pretty much adjusted to life with 2 kids. It is so fun watching Addison interact with her. She had a hard first few weeks accepting Sister and sharing her mommy, but got better day by day. Now she is my little helper.

Our trip to Texas

We had a great time in Texas, as always. I didn't take many pictures though. We stayed for 12 days. Most days we just hanged around the house. We had lots of family get togethers, Addison and Kevin went to tour Cowboy stadium, and I was in my best friend's wedding, Cassidy.

Here is Addison trying to be like mommy. She was walking around the house with her baby in the stroller. She had a bottle in her hand. I said "feed your baby". Instead of putting the bottle in the baby's mouth, she got on the couch and lifted her shirt up. We laughed so hard. She even would stop and burp the baby.

Before we left for Texas, we stayed in Birmingham at Momma Rose and Grandaddy's house the night before we left. The Coggin extended family came over to have dinner and see Annalee and celebrate Uncle Tyler's birthday.
