We officially sold our house yesterday and I am so happy. I can honestly say I am not going to miss one of our neighbors. I just hope it doesn't snow too much in the next three weeks. If anyone has access to boxes I would really appreciate it. I have also gone back to work full time for now and I really like my job. So I have alot to be thankful for this thanksgiving, especially my family. Now that I have gone back to work the time I spend with my kids is usually always happy time and it is really fun.

Milestones
Veronica had her very first day of Kindergarten on Wednesday and I thought I was the brave parent who would pitty all the others as they said their tearful goodbyes but it was actually really weird. I thought it would be fine seeing as how last year she went to preschool and that was fine; but now she mingles with all the big kids and has recess time and everything. I was pretty skeptical (not to be prejudice) but I found out in July that her teacher was not only new at the school but he was a male kindergarten teacher. When I found out I said to Alex he had better be gay or something like that. Sure enough I hit the nail on the head! In fact on the first day after I picked her up she asked why her teacher talked funny and all I said was I don't know why don't you ask him. I know I'm horrible, but wouldn't you?
Anyways, you are probably wondering who has time to get up at 7am and curl their daughter's ridiculously thick hair on the first day of school and all I have to say to that is NOT ME. I woke up and went in my bathroom only to find Alex curling each hair (so I showed him a little faster method) and it took him over 45 minutes. What a good Dad! Oh, and he remebered to take this picture. So either he is a really good Dad or I'm am a horrible Mom, you choose, just don't tell me.
And here is the reason I went to Utah. My nephew just got home from his mission in Fiji and you will notice the beautiful dresses he brought home for his sister (the blonde), his girlfriend (blue dress) and his Mom (last but not least the attractive green/orange dress on the right).Posted by KK Hill at 8:24 PM 2 comments

Ready For a Break!
I am off to Utah tomorrow for 10 days and I can't wait! Don't get me wrong I love my husband and kids (did I mention I get to go alone) but I need a serious break from a certain 5 year old. This week was a bad week all around. The kids finally went to bed tonight at 9:30 and I could hear them running around up there and I didn't even care. Sorry I know I am using this to vent but I have to do it somewhere. Anyways, I am also excited to see my nephew that just got back from his mission in Fiji. I missed his farewell so I figure I owe to him to go to his homecoming. Any of you men out there who read any of this, give my husband a call he will probably be lonely for some adult interaction. He says he is excited to "bond" with the kids but just wait until he finds out what their meaning of bonding is. I'm pretty sure he'll need a vacation after I get back. Have a great week everybody!

Catching Up
We went to heritage days with my family on Monday, we have sort of made it a tradition and Veronica waits the whole year for that bus ride so we can't really decide not to go or we would "ruin her whole year". It was really nice out which made it a tad bit too warm so my Mom bought them the umbrellas you see in the pictures and they wanted their faces painted really bad so my sister stood in line with Veronica for over an hour which is longer than the face paint even lasted before it was washed off for bedtime. Veronica chose to be spiderman and while she was getting her face painted a little girl kept harassing her and yelling "spiderman is a boy why would a girl choose spiderman that is so dumb!" I was afraid Veronica would be offended and start crying or something like that but then she proved to me again that she is like her Dad not her Mom and she held up her hand right in the girl's face and said, without even looking at her, "It's Spidergirl, duh!" and the girl left her alone.

Memories
I got this from Alysha's blog, and even if you don't have a blog I would still love to hear the stories, even if they're not about me I just love a good story.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew/know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Veronica's beautiful new tooth
Veronica went and got some dental work done last week and she did really great. We took her to a paedeodontist so that she could have laughing gas just to make it a little easier. The dentist was really fast, it only took him 12 minutes to do the pulpotomy and that even includes putting on the silver cap. I still have yet to convince Veronica that she should not set a goal to have all silver teeth. And yes for all you mothers diligently brushing and flossing your kids mouths, Veronica is proof that sometimes that just isn't enough. Oh, well I guess it would be worse if I didn't right? When I used to work at a dental clinic the theory that I lived by was that if a kid under 7 years old had a cavity it was completely the parents' fault, needless to say I had better change my theory or else that makes me a bad Mom.
