So Skinny.....

For those of you who know Olivia, you know she is kind of squishy. The other day I was trying some of her jeans on her from last year to see which ones fit. She was sucking in her tummy and I said, "You're tummy is.." and before I could finish she completeed the sentence for me "....so skinny!" LOL! Love her little personality. Most of the time!

I wish everything was princesses....

About 2:00 am the other night, Olivia came into my room to go to the bathroom. She proceeded to tell me that earlier in the day she had wished that everything was Princesses and the entire top floor of our house turned into a Princess World.

I realized she had been dreaming and couldn't tell the difference between her dream world and reality.

The next day she tried several times thoughout the day to recreate her Princess World. I would hear her in her room saying..."I wish everything was princesses"...then come running out to see if things had magically changed. It was so cute and so sad too. I didn't have the heart to tell her that it was just a dream. Let her go on thinking she had one magical day when everything turned to princesses!

Sunday email from Korey

Korey writes: I'm so happy to be here, the people of Haiti are great. Through all that has happened they still smile. They are so happy and grateful to see us. I know why Scott fell in love with this country now. The people are truly amazing. They're so hopeful. There are a lot of hungry kids and young adults here. I share my food even though we are not suppose to. They call me big stomach in creol. They all laugh and hug me. It will be hard to leave them.
If he keeps giving away his food they won't be able to call him "big stomach" for long! LOL! We are so blessed to have a dad like this in our life. Thanks for being such a wonderful example to us. Olivia prays every night for her dad and asks Heavenly Father to help Korey and Scott find the mom's and dad's who have little children who are looking for them. We are having our own spiritual experiences here at home. It's hard to be away from Korey, but we are blessed with good friends and family who take care of us. And we are especially blessed with a Heavenly Father who knows us, loves us and is watching over all of us.

The Orphanage in Haiti

Korey has gone out to an orphanage in the country. He will be staying there for 5 days or so. This orphanage is owned and run by an LDS bishop. He runs several orphanages in the city that were affected in the earthquake. The orphanage was in the process of being built when the earthquake hit. Korey and others have gone to finish this orphanage so that these homeless orphans can have a home. Korey said this Bishop is amazing and has been through a lot. His son was kidnapped on Dec. 3 and his mother and sister were killed in the earthquake. So far, they have poured the footings for a kitchen. They have been digging a hole for a bathroom. They will be finishing the kitchen, adding a roof and Korey has designed some picnic tables they will be making.
He says the people are hopeful and humble. He says it's amazing to see them happy and smiling inspite of the circumstances.

The Killpacks are having TWINS!

We found out yesterday that we are having twins. A boy and a girl! I have been browsing the internet to find a cute pregnancy ticker (that shows twins), but can't seem to locate one. Anyway, we are due May 21st and looking forward to the adventure!
