February 6, 2009 Allie Keegan was born and now she is turning 4! The years with her have been filled with so much joy and fun! There have been challenges too, but she has the sweetest spirit and wants to please! She has been looking forward to her birthday for many weeks and was trying to understand the difference in her birth day and her birthday party day! On her actual birthday, she had school so she got to celebrate with her friends and I brought in cookies for them.

This is her pinkalicious shirt and of course her cowboy boots with a tutu! Perfect birthday outfit!
outside her classroom
We met my mom for lunch at Luby's since it was a half day at school.
I now know why it is so hard for my friends with more than one kid to get a good family picture...
She sure does love her little brother! And he loves to watch her!
A couple days later on Saturday, we had her birthday party. This is not a good picture of me but oh well!
Grandma and Allie
Everything was pink for her Pinkalicious gymnastics party!
I made the cupcakes and although I was tempted to make them vegan- Jon told me not to! :O) I did not even eat one because of the dairy, but I am sure they were yummy!
We invited her school friends, friends from church (her closest friends) and our neighbors. Originally, it was all girls but since she was not going to her other class on Monday and Fridays anymore, we invited Corbin her buddy from that class! And then Blake got to come with his sisters!
Doing their stretches
They did a great job and getting them all involved and making it fun for them. They got to do a bunch of circuits and they all enjoyed it!
The party room is up above so parents could watch from up there.
Meagan and Allie- her best little friend
Getting ready to do the "PopCorn"!!!
This was hysterical to watch! and she LOVED it!
Look at that smile!
Lindsey and Allie
So fun!
Big parachute time
And I tried to get a good group photo...
After doing gymnastics they came upstairs to have pizza and cupcakes
"Happy Birthday!!!!"
She always licks all the frosting off first then eats the cupcake
Nana, Pops and Jon! My dad was there too but he graciously offered to watch Kyle who was sleeping in his carseat the whole time in the back room!
We had a big party this year for her because she had been through so much the past 7 months with moving and me being on bed rest and then Kyle being born. Plus, I was not ready to have a party at the house with Kyle being so young. I seriously doubt we will do one like this again anytime soon, but it sure was fun for her!
And as Jon always tells Allie, "Thank you for being my little girl; Allie Keegan!" We love you and are so thankful that God chose us to be your parents! My prayer for you this upcoming year is that you will continue to learn about God and how much He loves you and how much we love you too! Also that we would be the best parents that we can be for you to nurture you and help you grow up to love God and treat others with kindness!
