Obama elected next President of the United States, but God is still my Ruler!!
"You're the God of this city
You're the King of these people
You're the Lord of this nation
You Are
For there is no one like our God
There is no one like our God
Greater things have yet to come
Great things are still to be done
In this city
Greater things are still to come
And greater things are still to be done here
You're the Lord of Creation
The Creator of all things
You're the King above all Kings
You Are
You're the strength in our weakness
You're the love to the broken
You're the joy in the sadness
You Are
Greater things have yet to come
Great things are still to be done
In this city
Where glory shines from hearts alive
With praise for you and love for you
In this city
Greater things have yet to come
Great things are still to be done
In this city
Greater things are still to come
And greater things are still to be done here"

moving forward...
My Nana was laid to rest on Monday. I know that she is in heaven rejoicing forevermore. It was a great opportunity to see a lot of family that I normally do not get to see very often. Uncle Lee and Aunt Brenda were down from Colorado. We are heading their way in November for our new annual tradition of Thanksgiving in Buena Vista. I also was able to see my sister, Judd and her two cute kids, Bailey and Campbell. I have seen Campbell more than I saw Bailey in her first days. He is a stud of a man. Bailey and I went "swimming" in the hot tub with maw-maw on Monday night. Then we had snack. I made some cookies which Bailey wanted one, and apparently so did Lady (my mom's dachshund). Then we moved on to ice cream since the dog got the cookie. It was super fun to hang out with my family even though the circumstances that they came under.
Meike found out on Sunday that her cousin, Laila, will be coming to visit us the first two weeks of August. She is excited about the time that they will get to spend together. We were just the hosts to Meike's parents at the end of May. She enjoys having company over at the house.

late night
Yesterday I left work and took Meike to CareNow, she had poison ivy. Then we went to hang out with some friends of ours at their house in NE Dallas. On our way home, my mom called me and asked if me and dad would come out to see Nana. The nurse told her that it would not be long before she would go. At 10:30 pm dad and I headed to Kaufman. When we got there we saw Nana in her bed the same as last weekend, not opening her eyes or talking. Her breathing was slowing down. At 12:50 am this morning, Nana took her last breath while mom and I were hold on to her.
She will be greatly missed!! I am happy to know that her and Paw-Paw are together once again in Heaven. No oxygen tanks, shortness of breath, just peaceful living with each other.
