Pratt Family

This morning Austin said the funniest thing. The boys always have a little conversation about whose turn it is to pray each time we eat or say family prayers. This morning it turned into a little spat but Tanner accepted that it was Austin's turn once mom clarified. But first thing Austin said in his prayer was, "Bless Tanner not to pray. Only I pray. Bless Tanner not to pray." It made me smile!

The boys have been so cute. Since we have been talking so frequently about the adoption thing the boys have been "practicing" for our baby some day. They found these old baby blankets I've been pulling out to send to my sister (since we have double of everything around here :) and wrapping up a bunch of their stuffed animals...it's been pretty fun to watch!

There are so many cute pictures it is hard to not pick a billion to post! Here are a few more over the last year and a half!

So i'm not doing this right i guess. The first post of each of these "favorites" posts is chronologically farther back in time, with last one being when the boys are older, and then the next post above that starts the same thing again...I was hoping for it to go all in a straight line but it will only post 5 pictures for me at a time.

This has truly got to be one of my all-time favorites! This was in the hospital the day the boys were born.

The first Christmas after the boys were born. They were 5 ½ lbs each…so tiny!

I love how huge the pacifiers look…it takes up half their tiny little faces!

Tanner's first mark of mischief was taking an entire can (big food storage ones) of powdered milk and tossed it all over the kitchen floor. I told him not to do it again and had a little laugh. I was just grateful it was on the kitchen...little did i know it was only the beginning!

I don't have a picture but Tanner's next crazy thing was pouring a costco sized container of olive oil all over the carpet!

While i had a meeting in the living room tanner found the eggs...need i say more?

These little "dumpings" have started occurring less often but just the other day tanner found some fingernail polish i didn't put quite high enough and it ended up on the couch! I thought we were doomed to buying another couch but my sister, Janae, came through with the tip to use hairspray...it melted right out!

Austin has never taken to this crazy habit of dumping random items all over the house but once when i was talking to tanner before sending him to time out i heard Austin whisper to him, "Pour it tan, yeah!" while he held the remains of what he had been sprinkling all over the floor! Those two are nothin' but trouble...but oh how i love them :)

I officially have a love-hate relationship with blogging. I can spend far too many hours attempting to align things the way i want with the right colors...there are just so many cute backgrounds to choose from it hurts! It's so fun yet it sucks hours from my very needed "beauty sleep" (too bad that doesn't really work :)
This whole adoption process is reallying getting me motivated to get a blog going and after a few friends have shown me a few tricks to getting the blog to format the way i want it to...i think this love-hate relationship with blogs has a bright future of love-love :)
My next monster is figuring out how to make my pictures fit on the side column. Any tips are welcome as you can see the pictures are wacko right now...plus, those pictures of tan and aust are a little creepy :) The were just the first ones we found and stuck in here when we were playing around with starting this blog. Those fake teeth have provided a lot of entertainment though!
