So tonight was the first time I was able to go to knitting in about six weeks, so I was really excited. I actually took a sick day/mental health day today because I got my flu shot yesterday and was running a fever until late this afternoon. (The fever has since returned. I will probably go to work tomorrow anyway.)
I headed down to Misknits in the afternoon, and took a belated baby gift to everyone's favorite yarn shop owner.
Legwarmies for Pepper, made from Wollmeise Poison No. 5. Super easy to make, and a really quick knit in fingering weight yarn on US 3 DPNs. I think they are absolutely precious, and every baby I know who is due to arrive in the next 6 months will be getting a pair of these.
Then I went to knitting at C's, and had quite the surprise waiting for me. Six weeks post-birthday, C produced the BEST PRESENT EVER.
