Family in 2009

It's been awhile since I blogged....

Ok, so it is Jan. 20, 2010 and one of my new years resolution was to blog more so my family and friends who are far away can see what is going on in our family...and see the kids grow up like I get to.
The last time I blogged was Kaila's birthday, she turned 6. Well it's been over a year now. She just had her 7th bday in November and now instead of princess party, it was an all out Hanna Montana party! We did glamour shots with her friends, makeup, nails, and pictures. Then finished it off with a photo shoot. What a fun way to spend the night with 6, 7yr olds! A big thank you to my great friends Mandy, and Becca...and of course "Grandma Tam" and "aunt Vonny". The girls loved it!

Fun in November

Lots of things happened in November and the family loved the action! Kaila had a birthday!! She is now a big 6 year old! She had a big party with a live Aurora princess. We played games, painted faces and even had a magic show. The kids loved it! Daddy helped host the party along with Grandma Tam and Aunt Von. Kaila was the most beautiful princess thanks to my good friend Mandy who did her hair fancy. Thanks to everyone who made Kaila's birthday a success!

Dallas Cowboys and Cardinals Football Game

Dave and I got to go to a Cowboys Football game last month. One of his friends from work gave us tickets! It was so fun to dress up and enjoy the day with my man. I love him so much and cherish the days we can spend together. We had great seats, right in the middle of the field. Cowboys lost, but the day was still great! Someday we are going to fly to Dallas to see a home game.

Lots has happened from last time I posted....

This summer we took two vacations back to Utah to visit. The pictures posted are when mom and I went to Uncle Freddy's funeral. It was so great to see everyone. We also had fun hanging out, just me and mom.

I can't believe the last time I posted was in June. Kaila was graduating Pre-school with Mrs. Rosie's class (which was awesome). Since then A LOT has happened.

Kaila is in Kindergarten with Mrs. Rackle. She loves it and has made lots of friends. She comes home every day with a new phone number of a friend she wants to play with afterschool. The only problem is Jayden waits all day to play with his sister when she gets home, so I don't let her go play afterschool as much as she would like. Here is a picture of Kaila doing homework afterschool.

Kaila's Graduation From Zoofari Pre-school

Kaila was so lucky to go to Mrs. Rosie's preschool this year. She learned so much! Zoofari helped Kaila learn letters by acting out the sounds that animals make, and recognizing letters to go with each animal. She had fun while she learned! Mrs. Rosie was awesome with the kids...and the best part is that she is my Relief Society President who I work closely with at church.

Kaila starts Kindergarten in August. We went to the "Roundup meeting" to show her around and meet some of the teachers at the school. Kaila is so excited to go to the "real school". I am a little nervous about her being gone all day, but I think she is ready and will do great!

Jayden's Birthday

We had a good time taking Jayden's buddies to Chuck-e-cheese! Thanks to grandma Tam for the Buzz Lightyear toy. He has been asking for it for months!
Jayden was really lucky to have so many friends at his party. Thanks to my best friend Mandy for helping me out with the event. 8 Boys at Chuck-e-cheese...I needed a good friend to stand by me in the chaos. Dave played games, rounded up the boys, and we held down the fort at the table. Thanks!
